The Packers victory is more than the victory of a football team - it's the victory of views os society. According to an article titled Follow the Cheeseheads by Mark Neubauer published in the Los Angeles Times, on February 5, 2011,the Green Bay Packers are publicly owned, "liberated" from the egomania of CEO's with a God-complex. The proceeds from Packers games to the players as salaries, "not to the pocket of some greedy owner." They also go to the Packers Foundations which distributes the money to charities in Wisconsin.
So the victory of the Packers is also a victory for the concept of community over the concept of greedy corporations. If this sounds socialistic, then the Packers' victory is a victory for socialism.
Nice to see Matthews on the podium with Rodgers. I think he was just as deserving of MVP. Outstanding defensive play on his part put a LOT of pressure on Ben R.
Congratulations to the Packers...Now the boorish overconfident pgh fans can cry in their iron city beers and look up to their thug predator qb who showed his true mettle...
Christina's national anthem was HORRIBLE. Even if she would have gotten the words right it would still have been horrible. For the most part the ads were disappointing, especially Pepsi for lack of originality (hey, guys, believe it or not the halarious shot to the crotch has already been done no fewer than a million times). The highlight of the Black Eyed Peas was the appearance of Slash.
The game itself was very good in my opinion and I'm glad the Packers won. Maybe in the future they'll just play the game and forget about all the sideshows. And maybe monkeys will fly out of Madonna's butt.
Not just Dallas, I feel sorry for all the girls around the country because in the offseason he will be back on the hunt with his corrupt police officer bodyguards...Don't let his supposed pgh area fiancee fool you..in hollywood she is called a "beard"..it all show to try to hide what he truly is...
The funniest super bowl commercial were made in the 1980's and early 90's
I can say the best one today was the Careerbuilder monkeys blocking the guy in his car on both sides.
