Caught spying on the competition? Maybe they''ll change the team name to the Patriot Acts!

I dont care what the patriots won by. If you get caught cheating during the game, you forfeit that game.

As much as I dislike the Patriots - I believe that they are not the first nor the last team to do this type of thing. It only came out because they were caught. I have to agree with Juwboy, if you watch enough games you can easily pick up some of the signals.

GEAUX SAINTS!

Appropriate penalties? Suspend the coach for a season and order the game to be replayed with no fans and no TV. FIFA does the latter when teams don''t control hooligans

Lets hear it for Goodell! What a class act in the world of sports. Get rid of the punks, thugs, cheaters, wife beaters, and drug heads in pro sports. They only drag down the integrity of the game. Too bad baseball has such a spineless leader. Bonds doesn''t even deserve an asterisk.......

I think the guy was just videoing the cheerleaders, they have nice shirt skirts, he''s probably a pervert. As for the fines, where does the money go? They should put the money in the retired NFL players fund and Gene Upshaw should be fired. The creep rakes in over 6 million a year, when some of the retired players are only getting as little as 350 bucks a month, and they are the ones who make the NFL the powerhouse it is today.

What''s all the fuss about?

Anybody in the crowd could figure out some of the signals. Back in the 80s I knew when Joe Montana would roll out to his right, then swivel around and pass to the wide receiver 10-15 yards downfield near the left sideline.

===How does the commissioner justify not altering the games outcome? I wonder what the score would have been if the Jets had stolen the Patriots offensive signals? If he didn''''t want to give the Jets the vistory he could have at least voided the Patriots and declared the game a tie===

The Pats deserve to lose their #1 pick next year for this, but let''s not get crazy here either. New England beat the Jets 38-14 and it wasn''t because of signal stealing.
