whatithink said,

"Time will tell whether his apology is sincere."

Come on now!

Do you really think that he is sincere?

Let''s say that he is a Christian (just for fun), well, he wouldn''t give a flying f*ck about apologizing to you because, to a Christian, only God deserves the apology, since only God is number one in a Christian''s life!

Sincere?

Since when has a millionaire been sincere?

Did vick do wrong? Yes but does the federal government need to send him to prison to teach a lesson no! He needs counselling because there is more to it than meets the eye. How every you find God is good, as long as you FIND GOD. Let Michael get back to his life and stop judging him. You that are without sin cast the first STONE.

Time will tell whether his apology is sincere. Nobody can judge it here. Of course he had to face the issues because he was caught. So what? That is the case with most people. Hopefully he will learn from this mistake and strive to be a better person. Who would have any problem with this? He can''t change the past. And, if this case is beyond redemption, then God help us all.

knyghtwolf,

How does one prove that torturing an animal is wrong by wishing to torture a person? Aren''t you supposed to prove that something is wrong by example? Otherwise, I''m not seeing how you are any different than him.

"What he did is beyond redemption.

- That is where we disagree. Why is this beyond redemption? Is it you who decides this or should it be a higher power? Someone can kill or enslave (i.e., torture) people and still be redeemed, but someone who fights dogs can''t be redeemed. How much sense does that make? None.

Interesting how many people '' find Jesus'' after they''re caught.

Somewhere, there has to be a place like that movie Hostel, where you can purchase a human being to torture, mutilate, rape, and/or kill at your own pace. Such a place is where Michael Vick needs to go, to be treated like that kind of "dog" and see how it feels. Yeah, buddy, this is the time to start making the punishment fit the crime, let him find his own personal jesus when he sees parts of himself strewn all over the place as he gasps his last breath. Hey all you animal abusers, wanna come out and play and see how it feels?

Oh, and yes....

"Finding Jesus"

...really?!

I never thought Jesus was lost, but apparently he is, because he''s been found by almost every celebrity caught in a criminal act since the advent of the "celebrity".

(just an extra $.02)

What makes me sick is the vile hatred toward a person who had done nothing other than animal abuse, and furthering his financial greed.

All the dog lovers come out like... well... pit bulls against Michael Vick!

He should receive some jail time and pay heavy fines, and be banned from the NFL for a period of time (how much time and how much money paid should be left to the court). But again, Michael Vick did not...

- rape anyone
- kill anyone
- rob millions of dollars from innocent people
- or organize/supervise a crime ring involved in any of the above.

I have no dogs, no cats, no fish, no pets whatsoever. So you can''t accuse me of being biased toward any type of animal, (or against).

But people... get over yourselves! You may love your pooch, but there is something called the law and that is what will prevail. I am quite sure that he will not commit these disgusting crimes again. But making him an example will not deter those who are still involved in such a crime (to this day).
