More than 50 pit bulls will be euthanized this coming Thursday if they are not adopted by the public. And who wants to adopt a pit bull that has been abused and trained to kill? The consequences of Vick''s crimes are still playing out.

CBS commentator Mickey Goodell should be fired for his comments on Vick in this morning''s show. Nobody wants Vick to make a come back, Goodell. You may not get it, but we don''t want an animal abuser to be forgiven and made a role model for children. Animal abuse is not an error in judgement, it is a deep personality flaw and Vick will never be rehabilitated. He has killed and tortured animals. There is no forgiveness and no second chance. Shame on CBS for broadcasting these disgusting messages. Fire Mickey Goodell.

I just watched CBS Saturday Morning Early Show sports commentator, Mickey Goodell, give his take on the Michael Vice case and am appalled. In response to a question by anchor Maggie as to whether he thought Vick would ever resume is career in the NFL, Goodell, likened Vick to other sports celebs who had been ousted due to gambling charges and who had been able to rebuild his career. Goodell commented that hopefully Vick could do the same!!!! Give me a break!!! Vicks crime is not merely gambling but implementing, bankrolling and participating in an illegal dogfighting ring on his own property as well as the wanton torture and execution of those dogs. By stating that "hopefully Vick can resume his career" Goodell is condoning and minimizing the seriousness Vick''s heinous crimes. CBS News as Goodell''s employer is doing the same. I am outraged. I demand a public apology by CBS News and Mickey Goodell for this stupid, insensitive commentary. And Mickey Goodell should be personally sanctioned as well up-to firing!

More BS about Vick caused "extreme cruelty"... If Vick had shot the dogs using a high-powered rifle, even then he would have been convicted. But thats what happens when hunting deer! If only deer were dogs, they could have got some justice in thius country?

Pure baloney in the name of justice!! Dont killy any animals, I say....

This is just crazy! I think Michael Vick should not even be fined leave alone jailed. What hypocrisy! Hunting is legal. For some reason killing deer is considered great valor in this country, but not dogs. Never mind the fact that the deer has absolutely no chance against the brave and valorous NRA associated hunters. A fewmonths back, in PA, they had a game shooting turkey with rifles (poor birds didnot have anyt chance)... But then turkeys and deer are not dogs! Its all about nuance. Why?? Don''t people ever ask why???? I do not support killing any animals at all.

Vick has pissed of White folks so much that they are commenting about it even on a Saturday! LOL
They are skipping their yoga sessions to jump on Vick! LOL
I hope Vick can learn from all of this and move on from it. I wish no evil on no man and hope that he still is able to pick himself up. I also hope that you people can get over Vick and don''t bring his name up like you do OJ''s even after 10 years!LOL

The matter is simply extreme cruelty to animals which is a crime in any state. Vick pleaded guilty to this and thus deserves jail time. The NFL has effectively banned him for life and with no renumeration due him - no money from football.

Vick has no one but himself to blame. He knew what his contract said and knew what the laws were. He was also fully aware of what everyone was doing and even helped. He made his choice and now must live with it.

I really do not know how much he will have, if any, after he leaves jail but when he does, one of the first things he has to do is to get rid of all of his entourage (friends).

Here is a dumb fk who believe he was above he law; he saw himself as a god. His hatred ad cruelty towards others, women, pets and friends shows he is one sick puppy. Luckily he can afford the massive amount of counseling that will spark his true good heart.

By the way, you still owe me 18K on that last fight you lost.

That was:

"...he could not tolerate being called names like "cracker," "p*olack" and "stupid white boy."

..."When I was growing up, I was always taught to stay away from racial slurs... epitaphs [sic]," Pasternak said. "This kind of conduct, from a supervisor who worked with kids, really bothered me."

He needs to stop worrying about football, they don''t let you play in Prison, that is hollywood BS.Been there done that, he better start worrying about how to cook up a good slam, with Ramen noodles and squeeze cheese, and some summer sausage.Better get meaner than those dogs also. There are some big bad *** dog lovers in prison and plus he is famous, boxing gloves or panties that is his choice of daily attire.

"I watched about 15 black boys beat 1 white guy all the way around my school when I was young, and you know what I couldn''t help him. I was frozen in my shoes and scared half to death."

Although historically the white man was the great exploiter and enslaver, today in America discrimination works in all directions.

The law is beginning to recognize that.

"White Man Awarded $150,000 in Racism Lawsuit

Thursday, August 23, 2007

BUFFALO, N.Y. - A federal jury awarded a white man $150,000 in a racial discrimination lawsuit Wednesday.

Mark Pasternak, who is white, said he was dismissed from his state job helping troubled youths because he could not tolerate being called names like "cracker," "***" and "stupid white boy."

A seven-member all-white jury [the OJ jury in reverse ?] found that Tommy Baines, who is black, discriminated against Pasternak and created a hostile work environment."

It didn''''t hit me until just now how powerful and extensive The Caucasian Conspiracy really is.
Posted by Keithle1 at 10:39 PM : Aug 24, 2007

This is NOT about a "Caucasian Conspiracy," this is about a man committing a crime. I don''t care if he''s black, white, yellow, pink or is covered in polka dots. He deserves to be punished.

I work with a dog rescue. We''ve rescued fighting dogs and other unwanted animals. Yes, pit bulls were originally bred (Please not correct spelling, you eat bread, but a dog that is in a family way has been bred) as fighting dogs, but I also know some that are really sweet animals. I even own a dog that''s a boxer/Rhodesian Ridgback/Pit Bull mix. She''s a sweetheart and I love her to death.

I don''t care who you are. Abuse an animal or another human being, PAY THE PRICE!

That''s exactly why they have to be youthenizeed, because everyone is scared of them rightly so. Not only did Vick and his accomplises kill the animals inhumanely, but other dogs now have to die due to the torture they had to go through and can''t be trusted as man best friend.
