There is nothing wrong with prescribed anabolic steroids. Posted by Antillo99 at 12:37 PM : Aug 08, 2007
____________________

Anabolic steriods are to athletes what robbery is to thieves. It's just an easy, and illegal, means to get what they want without having to work for it.

In case you're not aware, anabolic steriods have been BANNED from all major sports, including MLB, NBA, and NFL. If you were a SERIOUS sports fan you would know that.

So that makes it cheating. It can't be justified by being prescribed by a doctor. It's banned from sports and it's illegal.

Bob Selig said he would not find himself watching the game whenever the event happened. His gut feeling: dishonesty due to steroids!!! why is the press acting like they don't know what the heck is going on. Talk to ESPN Sportscenter, I heard it from them Bonds is using...................................

Yeah Barry......All of you remember Barry is just like all of us only more..... he actually had tears thanking everyone. Not all of us are doom and gloomers and he deserves respect for the entertainment he has given us.

If it is ever proved Bonds cheated by using chemicals His record should be deleted from all record books. Instead of an asterisk, maybe a picture of a small hypodermic needle could be placed there.

INVESTIGATE BONDS!

From 1999 through 2004 - after steroids - the frequency with which Bonds struck homers nearly doubled, to one every 8.5 at-bats. His best year was 2001, when he hit a home run every 6.5 at-bats.

It is amazing what a few needleful of hormones can do to the performance of a player. Long live chemicals.

The probable use of steroids detract from any record in major league sports, regardless of the race of the athlete. I think that all of the home run %u201Caccomplishments%u201D of Barry Bonds (black), Mark McGwire (white), and Sammy Sosa (Hispanic) are worthless and irrelevant. Hank Aaron will always be #1 in my book.

INVESTIGATE BONDS!

Professional wrestling is a theatrical psuedo-sport, with referees to provide the appearance that rules are being enforced while looking the other way, as steroid pumped performers whip the crowd into a frenzy to buy more and more.

Any of you white trash pigs have a problem with this? Posted by ConDumism at 09:47 AM : Aug 08, 2007

ROFLMMFAO!!!

Another one who can't resist resorting to childish name-calling when confronted with a differing opinion.

ROFLMMFAO!!!

The threat of being called a "white trash pig" certainly isn't going to endear me to your side of the argument. It just lowers the credibility of the basis for your argument.

I'm a fan of players like Aaron and Gwynn and the honor and prestige they and others like them brought to the game.

White, Black, or Hispanic, players who "cheat" to get ahead only demean professional baseball.

(Sorry if I used words you may not understand, condumism.)

There's plenty of EVIDENCE to prove that Bonds was taking steriods. However, the baseball commission and the MSM has been VERY kind to him by not pushing the issue.

Bonds' actions, and the actions of certain other players, have put a very dark cloud over the business of professional baseball. (It's NOT a sport.)

Yeah!! Just think how much BETTER he would have been if he had been sober. LOL!!!

Congrats to Barry!! whooo hooo
steroids or not - steroids might help send that ball a little further but it's the EYE TO BALL contact that is the difficult. If you can hit a ball at 92 or 98 mph you all have my support.
Steroids don't help see that ball - you have to have a pretty good eye and pretty good timing to hit it and he maybe a jerk at times, but he did what so many others couldn't do -
there will be someone coming up that will break his record but it will be sometime coming.
Again - congrats to Barry!!!

now can we start hockey please

Using steroids would get an athlete stripped of their medal in the Olympics, and banned from competition.
