Why am I not surprised that the Iraqis are demonstrating against still-President Bush? I know there are people who will say "But now the Iraqis CAN demonstrate. Now they are free."

Really? Ask the women. Ask the prisoners. Ask all those thousands who have lost loved-ones. Maybe freedom really is just another word for nothing left to lose.
