Iraq Officials Say Combat Troops Would Leave By 2010, But U.S. Officials Offer No Firm Date
- This is going to leave an overwhelming mess for even Barrack Obama and if I was him I wouldn''''t even take the job of President at this point because whoever would is insane with the idiots we have in Washington and throughout the country.

Harry "I surrender" Reid: "The war is lost" - Reply to this comment
- Interesting,
The Criminal Bush Administration can finally see the "hand writing on the wall".
They know that the economy is lost not just in a recession but lost all it''s super powers.
So therefore we can''t afford a 100 year imperial occupation like John McCain wants to do. Not even Alexander the Great could occupy Mesapotamia in the traditional imperial sense.
What''s happening now is that they realize "timetables" are in order and that the so called "surge" was a failure as even they will use future suicide bombings to justify revising any troop withdrawals.
But at this point it doesn''t matter because quietly Condileeza Rice and Robert Gates are telling Bush and Cheney that we can''t back up the idiotic Israeli strike against Iran and stay in Iraq at the same time.
This is going to leave an overwhelming mess for even Barrack Obama and if I was him I wouldn''t even take the job of President at this point because whoever would is insane with the idiots we have in Washington and throughout the country. - Reply to this comment

If the largest and most powerful economy in the world did "self-destruct" where do you think that leaves the rest of the world.
Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. - Reply to this comment
- Hey terror .... the cold war is over. Russia could not control the Middle East any more than the US can!
The repubs funded Osama against the Soviets, they funded Hussein against the IRAN''ians. All the while Exxon and Shell are still PO''ed that they lost it all to a bunch of religious fanatics.
I love it when the redneck neocons blame dems for the "OIL" war started by repubs and supported by repubs. Idiots will soon just be a side show for the change that will soon take place. - Reply to this comment
- rafflin, what is even more funny is watching you Dem losers adopt the policy the Repubs have been touting all along and then try to take credit for it!

- Oh, but according to all the neocon, bigoted, racist backwoods rednecks they want us there. They want democracy .... just like the Saudis have .... all women in their place and the gov controled just by a few "choosen" ones! ROFLMAO .... what a joke for all repubs to be openly dissed by the folks that we want to free! I bet Exxon is really PO''ed. They got run out of IRAQ 35 years ago and it looks like they will be run out again very soon! ROFLMAO!
Yep, countries ruled by religion really want freedom and liberty for all .... as long as it is their religion and they have it all! - Reply to this comment
