American troops are stabbed in the back again by the DEms and Obama , just like in Vietnam . First , they want the troops out in defeat , now , with all the blood that was spilled and Iraq finally stabilized , they help the Iraqis kick us out , so , are we into helping the Iraqis for charity causes? THis is stupid , it is a spit in the face of the troops who have done so much to improve the situation there to its safety today , when Obama can afford to walk around without body armor . Like I said , America''s biggest enemy is her own people , That is why America lost in Vietnam , that is why we are about to waste our time and effort and come home with nothing in Iraq . Wake up American and vote Mc Cain!

Don''t bet for one minute the U.S. will leave Iraq. Why
do you think the U.S. built a huge U.S. embassy the size of the vatican?? Guess who is going to pay to keep this U.S. embassy running???? You got it, the U.S. taxpayers. We are going to be there a very long, long time.

Where will Halliburton and Black Water Security get their money from without Bush and Cheney in the White House? Over 8 years they''ve taken about $500 billion. That''s not million, that''s billion. Don''t worry, your kids and grand kids will have it deducted from their paychecks. This is called republican money management.

Only hitch is the planned Bush-McCain invasion of Iran. We may need to keep some soldiers in Iraq to support that war.

[Looks like Obama was wrong and the republicans have been right all along.]
[Posted by notblue at 05:30 PM : Aug 07, 2008]

his plans for withdrawal would have aligned nearly exactly w/ the current timeline that''s been mentioned. he wouldn''t be in office, if he won the presidency, until early 2009 ... and the tentative timeline calls for all troops out of iraqi cities by summer 2009. can you read?

you''re such a deluded fool it wouldn''t have matter what transpired ... claiming you were right regardless.

- they''ll treat us like liberators

- the war will cost $1.5 billion

- the profits from the oil will pay for the cost

- we''ll find tons of wmd and remove a world threat from the map

- iraq will be a shining light of democracy that spreads across the middle east

- we''ll make america safer because of it

- ''mission accomplished'' is declared on may 1, 2003 (nearly all 4100+ us casualties have occured since then)

did any of these thing happen? what constitutes success (or failure) to you?

Before the Surge

The Awakening Councils

Approximately 80,000 Arab Sunnis, most of who were formerly armed insurgents who had fought against the US forces following the fall of Saddam Hussein%u2019s regime have joined the Al-Sahwa program since the end of last year and allied themselves with the American forces with the intention of fighting Al-Qaeda.

The residents and shopkeepers of al Azamiyah, once an Al-Qaeda stronghold, have expressed their sincere gratitude for the efforts and results achieved by the Sahwa forces. However, this gratitude is not without trepidation and concern for what might happen if this force was not rewarded for its achievements in establishing security.

Abu Safaa, 38 years old, told AFP earlier this week, "We do not want to see them just working in the Ministry of Labor. Their place is in the army or police force - especially after what they have accomplished."

The US forces are paying every member a monthly salary of US $300 after signing a contract that states upon their role as neighborhood guardian forces. These groups are also known as concerned local citizens (CLCs). Under American pressure, the Iraqi government said that it would pay their salaries starting from mid-2008.

Looks like Obama was wrong and the republicans have been right all along. His plans for immediate withdrawel despite conditions on the ground would have insured failure. At least Obama has finally seen the light!

Looks like OBAMA is right. The troop pullout time table is being done, according to the Iraqis. After all it is THEIR country, and NOT ours. Got that republicons?

Iraq began as a failure because it was based on a lie.

What would you consider a success in Iraq? What is there to win or lose?

Now if we asked Bush that question--he would say we would win the oil!

Other than that----nothing at all to win or lose!

-So when are you Republicans going to admit that your party is a failure? Seriously

They won''t... ever. The inbred southern white trash that is the republican base thinks things are great. Gas prices don''t bother them because they don''t own a car. Real estate values going down are o.k. because their trailer is already paid for. College tuition doesn''t matter because their 17 year old can''t make it out of the 8th grade. Stagnant wages are not an issue because their "paycheck" comes in the mail the first of every month.

.............."and with success our troops will be able to come home" - President Bush 2006.

And now that the surge, that John McCain pushed and Obama still stubbornly refuses to admit, has worked our great troops will be coming home.

Thanks to the great strategy that General Petraeus implemented and the great job the US Armed Forces have done at training the Iraqi Armed Forces and Police forces. They are taking over for US combat troops now.

Thank God that Iraq is being wrapped up on a good note. But no thanks to Obama, his Dem pals, and their corrupt "enablers", America''s corrupt liberal MSM wolfpack press...................no thanks to this "axis of evil" liberal politics.......................

Harry "I surrender" Reid: "The war is lost"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Posted by mbcsmith at 04:51 PM : Aug 07, 2008--

Harry Reid was right, Republicans did lose the war in Iraq. Everything the Republicans said about the war was a lie or failed to happen.

The War didn''t pay for itself, It didn''t add to our security because Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 in the first place and there is no legitimate recognized government.

Maliki is a puppet and has no authority outside the Green Zone which is why he spends most of his time in Iran talking talking with his shiite kin folk.

So when are you Republicans going to admit that your party is a failure? Seriously.
