Comments on: Iraqi PM Supports Obama's Withdrawal Plan
Al-Maliki Approves Of Candidate's Timetable For Removing U.S. Troops From Iraq Within 16 Months
- Sorry Ikez, but you''re wrong.
When asked when he thinks U.S. troops should leave Iraq, al-Maliki told the magazine, "As soon as possible, as far as we are concerned."
He added, "U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama is right when he talks about 16 months." - Reply to this comment
- Hey pro Obama at all costs CBS "news", Iraq didn''t say they support Obama''s plan. How about reporting what is really happening instead of what you WANT to be happening?
That''s what happens when your newsroom is ALL liberals. - Reply to this comment

- President said he would remove troops if asked by Iraq, but he predicted that Maliki would not ask for a withdrawal:
ROSE: But if he said get out now, we don%u2019t want you anymore%u2013
BUSH: I don%u2019t see how we could stay. It is his country.
ROSE: But if he said that, it would lead to the catastrophe that you have suggested.
BUSH: That%u2019s why he%u2019s not going to say it.
ROSE: You don%u2019t think he%u2019ll say it?
BUSH: I don%u2019t. No, I don%u2019t.

What are you babbling about? Iraq was a FRAUD, a LIE!! We have NO right staying in that nation if we aren''t wanted and how they govern themselves, according to OUR beliefs for over 200 years now, should be THEIR decisions to make NOT ours!! Maybe you fascist can''t understand that but everyone else does. Sieg Heil Bush - Reply to this comment
- Because the dems have been in control of congress since 2006, and this is the change they have brought us:
A crumbling housing market
Stock market has lost 15%
$4 dollar a gallon gas,
and a rising inflation rate.
...THANKS ***

Have ANY of you Nazi''s ever actually READ the Constitution... forget the History Class''s you OBVIOUSLY never went too! Honest it''s embarrassing reading stuff like this from a LOSER who can''t add two plus two AND doesn''t understand who sets the ECONOMIC POLICY for the nation... Sparky it ain''t Congress. No the Congress YOU need to focus on was the one that BURIED us in DEBT while that pathetic piece of human trash YOU call a President was taking a BALANCED BUDGET and SURPLUS and turning it into record Deficit. ALL this took place between 2000 when the fascist were handed that balanced budget and 2006 when WE the PEOPLE kicked all we could of them out of office. Now stand.. sing it out so Shooter "Deficits don''t matter" Cheney can hear you!! SIEG HEIL BUSH!! ROFLMAO I''ve got house plants smarter than this loser. - Reply to this comment
- If you withdraw your troops from Iraq, you are asking for another national war trauma (think another national Vietnam war trauma).
And those good and brave U.S. soldiers in Iraq, who have paid the highest price for freedom? For what?
And will Iraq become a true democracy if you withdraw your troops? Will the Iraqi people ever enjoy a good living standard? Will they ever enjoy peace? Btw, why dont you think about your experiences from Germany and Japan after World War II? And why dont you think about these great countries today?
Moreover, you were under attack on September 11 2001 AND YOU STILL IS. But now also in a "silent way". But you might not be aware of the magnitude of the movement - "Destroy the American Nation".
If you believe in freedom and democracy, do never surrender.

- "CBS has printed an article based on a bogus story from a left wing German magazine that wants Obama elected. Time for a retraction." Posted by joe1022joe
If it is true, then why retract? The White house must have thought it true if they were circulating it.
The core of the story is that "When asked when he thinks U.S. troops should leave Iraq, al-Maliki told the magazine, "As soon as possible, as far as we are concerned."
He added, "U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama is right when he talks about 16 months."
What part of this do you think is not true, and therefore deserving retraction, that He said it, or that, in your opinion, he is not correct about his own country''s internal affairs? - Reply to this comment
- IN CASE YOU DIDN''''T READ THE NEWS, ON THE OTHER SITES, THE IRAQI P M, HAS SAID HE DOES NOT SUPPORT THE OBAMA PULL OUT PLAN. HE WIS MIS QUOTED. HMMMMMMM

That is not what was said. Maliki said barak''s plan "the right timeframe for a withdrawal." He did not alter that statement. He never said he was misquoted. he never said he did not say this. So your necon premature speculation can end - Reply to this comment
- who cares white or black ...they both use the toilet...don''t they....

- Someone tell me why the almost all of the troops gathered to be present for Obama''s photo op were black? This cannot be a representative group since the vast majority of troops in Afganistan are white. Were the authorities afraid white troops would boo him?

- There is nothing patriotic about being part of the killing of innocent people in iraq ...with no just cause....these people were simply killed for oil companies and advancing the cause of the zionist ..which apparently backed fire ...and making iran a bigger player in this middle east chess board ...common sense and humanity has run a mock for the sake of your pariotism....I hope you all can sleep in good conscience with this madness that was caused by these two thugs in the white house....

- The Iraq War has been used for political purposes and a return to power by the dems ever since they realized how strong it made the Republicans look to joe-voter. The surge was designed to give the people of Iraq a chance to oust the foreign invaders that terrorized their people. Once this started happening the Sunni''s felt it was possible to stand up and fight. Also, get better updates because the people of Iraq are returning home, thanks to our troops they now have a chance at a better life without the evil tyrant Saddam who had already made Iraq a miserable place. Also, "Bush Lied", is a sound-byte created by the DNC to lure and mislead their followers. It is convenient to ignore the numerous mass graves found in Iraq, the chemical weapons he used on the kurds, the belief by all the surrounding countries leaders that he had WMD, the numerous dem''s that stated he had WMD, even Saddam''s own words that he had WMD''s because he thought it would keep Iran at bay. If all of these people stated that Saddam had WMD and our President followed through with what everyone else believed, how is that a lie? It seems to me that if there was proof that our President lied, the frothing at the mouth "Bush Bashers" would have a slam dunk and already impeached him. So when the actual proof comes along and I see the full story (not coming from sour grape election losers)I will believe that lefty propaganda.

- It amazes me how many of you are ready to jump down Obama''s throat about what to do about Iraq. Atleast he isn''t afraid to say we can''t just get up and leave. Bush stirred up a hornet''s nest and things will be crazy in Iraq for years to come. But hey, it was the patriotic thing to support our troops invading Iraq...wasn''t it???

- Frightening. With less than 4 months until the election, Obama will try in ONE week to gain foreign policy/national security exprience and to try to show some semblance of being a commander. Worse, we are told he has 300 foreign policy advisers; thus the Obama flip flops since no two advisers can agree on anything. Pray for America.

- Now just which withdrawl plan would that be?? The one where all the troops are out by 2009, the one where he leaves 80,000 troops in place or the one where he''ll listen to the military about the best plan?? Which plan??? This from a jerk who spent a bit over 140 days in Congress and the main claim to fame is as "community organizer" ala al sharpton.
What a joke. - Reply to this comment
