Mycomment,
Yes. I conceded. It essentially means Bush is going to pass the buck.

I guess so...but hopefully to McCain

Goodnight Smirk...enjoyed the volleying. My better half is out of town and I been staying up way too late ''cause I''m chicken and afraid of being in this big ole house by myself :)

Yes. I conceded. It essentially means Bush is going to pass the buck.

I also know that "We''ll be greeted as liberators" means a long guerrilla war with some civil war mixed in and the death of more than 4 thousand troops, 100,000 civilians, along with a few million refugees.
I know that "oil will pay for it" means that we''ll ultimately pay more than a trillion for it.
Bush Jr.''s run as President has been an education for us all.

A timetable or schedule is an organized list, usually set out in tabular form, providing information about a series of arranged events: in particular, the time at which it is planned these events will take place.

Ok, hang on and see if you can grasp this. A general time table would be something like this: Your boss says: Training meetings will be held in April and we will get back to you with exact dates and times. A time horizon would be something like this: Management would like to have training meetings sometime in the spring but that will be depending on when the teachers are available and if enough employees are interested. Got it?

Mycomment,

Things I now know:
I know that a grave and gathering danger means a country has no WMDs.
I know that civil war now means sectarian unrest.
I know that "making progress" now means that a quagmire is getting worse.
I know that Wanted: Dead or Alive now means someone isn''t that important.
I know that when a stated goal of something isn''t going to be reached that means the process of said stated goal is working (surge is working).
Ok. I''ll give you this one.
I now know that a general time horizon as it applies to Bush Jr. means dropping the problem on someone else after you leave.
Thanks.

Ok fine....I hope you aren''t a contractor because if you are then hopefully your foreman will give you a timetable to complete the work instead of a time horizon. :)

Mycomment,

Ok wikiman. Please tell us the wiki defined difference between a general timetable and a general time horizon. It''ll surely be amusing.

If the press were truly liberal, they''''d have laughed right in any Bushies face if they actually tried to say a general time horizon and a general timetable were anything but the same thing. The fact that they listen to this tripe and report it with a straight face shows us all that the corporate media is anything but liberal.

Sorry you are wrong...here is the definition:
A time horizon, also known as a planning horizon, is a fixed point of time in the future at which point certain processes will be evaluated or assumed to end. It is necessary in an accounting, finance or risk management regime to assign such a fixed horizon time so that alternatives can be evaluated for performance over the same period of time.

"I believe that either today or tomorrow -- and I''m not privy to his schedule -- Sen. Obama will be landing in Iraq with some other Senators," McCain said today.

What a traitor. Here''s a good joke for you. McCain knows how to win wars.

Bush has left messes for others to clean up his entire life. That''s what he does. Iraq is no different.

There''s a Fixed ''Time Horizon'' of 1-20-09 for Bush getting his A** out of the White House...Iraq need not be consulted on that one!

McCain just told the public that Obama was heading to Iraq this weekend. McCain says he "knows how to win wars", but he evidently also believes that loose lips don''t sink ships.

That will work out great! If Obama gets elected he can Pretend He Knows What He Is Doing.
