- Good. Let''s hope so. When things go bad in Iraq, McCain says we have to stay. When things go well in Iraq, McCain says we have to stay.
He can''t have it both ways.
I say, as the situation improves, then I want to do what Bush, Cheney and McCain advocated 3 years ago - "as they stand up, we will stand down."
And let me add, if they fail to stand up then it is their problem and we need to stand down anyway, through a gradual withdrawal.
I refuse to support people who fail to get their act together. - Reply to this comment
- Given the fact that the Bush Administration knew it was there and left it open for looting in the first push through Baghdad should be what really gives you pause, if you truly believe unprocessed Yellow Cake is a WMD.

- So "All Iraqi terrorists have been defeated"
is Bush''s answer to the question:
"What are you going to do
about the American economy"!?
They stopped all footage of bad news
from Iraq, show pictures of market places
but not the blast walls protecting them,
the news media goes along with them
such that people accept that Bush''s
war crime, save the deaths and destruction,
has turned out alright. They accept Bush as
a war criminal but want to move on.
But no, deep in financial trouble here Bush
is still back in Iraq trying to justify
himself out of being a war criminal.
HEY BUSH!!!WE ACCEPT YOU AS A CRIMINAL!!!
WE ACCEPT AS FACE VALUE WITHOUT AN
OBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT OF IRAQ THAT THINGS
ARE BETTER WITH 160,000 TROUPS AND 100,000
HOODLUM SECURITY MORONS KEEPING THINGS AT
LEAST LOOKING BETTER!!
Now, the economy, please. - Reply to this comment
- And what does this prove! That there is still work to be done. At the current rate of progress, incidents sych as this should diminish over time as the Iraqi government and its people take more control and beef-up their police, army, security forces, and military intelligence. Hopefully, the world will become safer as terrorism is defeated.

Correct. They SHOULD diminish over time. Expect the Iraq violence to calm down to "third world levels" by the year 2094. - Reply to this comment
