Attack North Of Baghdad Aimed At Al Qaeda Fighters Kills Eight Civilians
- 5 killers, with blood on their hands and no regard for the people they live with. 5 terrorists responsible for untold women and children''s death were killed, while hiding behind children. These five men have always hiding behind innocent people, innocent shields.
These 5 men and their brothers are the real murder''s, they know that if they die, innocent people will die with them and it doesn''t bother them a bit. - Reply to this comment
- Imagine a bank robber running and shooting from the bank being confronted by police. The bank robber grabs your 4 + 5 year olds to use as human shields while he continues to fire on the police. Do the police fire back mowing down your children in the process of stopping the robber or wait to confront the robber when it is safe to do so? This sad example routinely occurs daily in Iraq and innocents are murdered in the name of protecting us!

You just displayed another common trait of liberalism - admiration for the enemy.
You build up Saddam like he was some kind of hero. When is the last time you spoke so positively of our troops?

I WAS one of the troops, and have nothing but admiration for them.
It''s not their fault that they''re being misled and misdirected, and expected to solve the biggest foreign policy blunder of ANY COUNTRY, IN ALL OF THE WORLD''S HISTORY.
But it is a fact - Iraq was safe and secure from terrorists until Bush "liberated" them from S. Hussein.
How about you - have you ever served your country? - Reply to this comment

Being anti-Israel and anti-christian doesn''t make me anti-American - it makes me much smarter than you.
In fact, sine it''s a proven fact that our support of Israel is WHY we were attacked on 9/11, you could say that being pro-Israel IS anti-American. - Reply to this comment
- Bin Laden and Zawahiri massacre Arab children freely for supporting American Soldiers. Those two unabashed homosexuals destroy the very culture that fostered them. The Arab People are threatened with genocide by Bin Laden and Zawahiri. Al Qada will stop at nothing to enforce anarchy and chaos. The World Court does not make an attempt to apprehend those two. Why should so many children die?

- What is at stake is the safety of the American people and the freedom of the Iraqi people. If we lose in Iraq, Al Queda will have another safe haven from which to plan attacks against us. Does anybody really want another 9/11? Of course not - but that is the type of future we will be faced with if we surrender Iraq to the terrorists.

They''ve already got Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Yemen, and Somalia.
What makes you think that they "need" Iraq for a base of operations?
S. Hussein did FAR MORE to control al Qaeda than George Bush could ever hope for, and Iraq NEVER had a problem with terrorists while Hussein was in charge.
Bush should get a hold of S. Hussein''s playbook to learn how to control terrorists. - Reply to this comment
- My thought of the blood-for-oil moneymaking fiasco concerns conducting these maneuvers knowing anyone within vicinity of the explosions will be killed regardless of guilt/innocence. How do they then justify horrendous scores of purposely-underreported collateral civilian deaths (nearly a million and counting) for every enemy fighter eliminated, many surely innocent women and children? How can Bush/Cheney henchmen/supporters sleep at night with hundreds of thousands of immoral deaths haunting their souls? Are they so anesthetized to true-reality that this self-serving/self-righteous horror fails to register?
Any piteously twisting 3000 911 deaths in self-serving mental equivocation rationalizing/condoning greater justice murdering countless fellow humans must be piously self-deluded by the machinations of the devil himself. I bleed for the innocents, painfully humiliated and thoroughly ashamed at such indifferent American behavior, regardless of enemy battle-tactics devised to withstand this illegal invasion. It%u2019s obvious this war was morally wrong the moment the first lies were propagandized justifying perversion of our collective national dignity. May God forgive our sins! Save your soul, renounce the un-president and his un-scrupulous acts. By all that is sacred and holy, let%u2019s hold war-crime trials for this criminal administration.

- Just last month, our own intelligence agencies said that al Qaeda has regrouped, and is now stronger than ever. How can you say that they''re decimated and just about wiped out, when they''re actually stronger than ever.

Why are you so against the idea of Al Queda being defeated? You are trying to convince me that Al Queda is ''stronger than ever'' - but just last week the Pentagon announced that Al Queda in Iraq is weaker than ever.
Sorry, but I trust the Pentagon over you. - Reply to this comment

This is the problem with the libs - they oppose a war and they dont even know what we are fighting to win.
What is at stake is the safety of the American people and the freedom of the Iraqi people. If we lose in Iraq, Al Queda will have another safe haven from which to plan attacks against us. Does anybody really want another 9/11? Of course not - but that is the type of future we will be faced with if we surrender Iraq to the terrorists.
By ''winning'' the war, we will establish a free nation in the heart of the Middle East - this nation will inspire other Arabs to reject terrorism in favor of freedom and hope. See, right now, many Arabs become terrorists because from the day they are born their only influence is the evil teachings of radical Muslims who hate the USA. With a free Iraq, there will be peaceful and good Muslims that will be prospering and will be able to influence other Arabs to reject the hateful ideology of Al Queda.
But instead of winning in Iraq, the liberal Dems would rather surrender. - Reply to this comment

Where do you keep getting the figure "2/3 of their leadership has been killed"?
We have no idea who their leaders are, how many have been killed / died, or if those leaders were replaced or not. Your whole debate is speculation at best - there''s no basis in fact, because there are no known figures. A "guess" at best.

- Terrorism: There were no Al Quida in Iraq until we arrived. The number of ''terrorists'' have grown every day since the wars started.
Posted by economystupid
As with most liberal talking points, this has no basis in fact.
The truth is, Al Queda has been decimated since the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq started. It was once a worldwide organization with a strong base from which to plan attacks against the USA - hence 9/11.
Today, thanks to Bush and our hero troops, over 2/3 of Al Queda leadership has been killed or captured. Al Queda has been weakened so much that no attacks on USA soil have occurred since 9/11. And just last week, the Pentagon announced that Al Queda in Iraq is now weaker than it has ever been.
Since the liberal Dems keep calling for surrender in Iraq, how will they be able to take credit for Al Queda''s defeat? - Reply to this comment

The most they can hope for is a Pyrrhic victory. Whatever "good" (?) comes out of this fiasco, is in no way going to be worth the cost of blood and treasure. - Reply to this comment
- Nevertheless, Obama and Hillary still believe we should surrender.

They''re not talking surrender they are talking diplomacy--something that takes a level of intelligence--which is why ole George just plowed his way into Iraq-----
