Now guys, if you can''t take a little brain cancer joke, how are you going to deal with the upcoming disasterous Obama campaign? I''m really doing you a favor by desensitizing you to what you will call attacks (what I will call exposing the truth).

All of the trash talk about Bush and you can''t take a little joke about brain cancer. I''ll bet most of those offended were "rooting" for the pretzel in Bush-vs-pretzel (recall GWB nearly choked on a pretzel a few years ago). Yeah, you know what I''m talking about... get over it!!!

(Is your head hurting yet?!)

Real classy, thanks for helping me make my point.

Some things transcend politics for HUMAN BEINGS.

Even Rush Limbaugh had some kind thoughts to offer.

Why do you think it is funny, you should really analyze that? People that take pleasure in the suffering of others tend to have deep issues themselves.

sorry for the typo''s - apology theatre.

Last post should read:

"Re:bobmarisol

Are you aware that the US government put Saddam in power and supplied him with weapons for many years during the Iraq Iran War?

Are you aware that the US sold chemical weapons to Saddam??

Don''t blame this on the liberals, that''s the ditto head way out.

We made the monster, and not just him but other puppet regimes in the world that would not stand up to our wishes if a true democratic election were held.

Places like Israel/Palestine, if all men are created equal and everyone gets a vote, the map would change.
Same thing for Saudi Arabia, Bush is bedding down with one of the most oppressive and non-democratic countries in the world.
China would be another example.

We are beholden to these countries now, when we went, hat in hand, for these multi billion dollar bailouts.

You can blame everything on the liberals, parrot the party line. In the end you sound exactly like the type who blamed all their social ills on the Jews.
You are a better and more intelligent being, closer to God than others.

You are the most dangerous template of a person our country has ever had to deal with."

In the name of patriotism, we have participated in a planned deception to create a state of permanent war. In the name of profit, America has been sacrificed on the altar of the god of war, to create a global empire based on the mass-marketing of death.

%u201CWe are opposed...by a ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the [war] with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match...%u201D %u2013John F Kennedy, 1961.

We kill children, and there is NO outrage from the citizens, the military or the leadership.
For the poster that took it upon himself to list all the ''wonderful'' things we have accomplished in the Bush Presidency, I would like to publish another list of things that Bush is responsible for.

-Up to 150,000 to 200,000 civilian deaths, not military, but woman and children.
-A collapsing US economy.
-Devaluation of our currency due to the massive over printing by this administration to pay for its wars.
-The price of oil up from 1998, TEN times more.
-Gas at all time record highs and still climbing
-The defunding of the programs that help the most helpless of us survive and receive food and medical care
-No States or local governments have any money because we all send $12 billion a month to this bottomless pit.
-We will print money like Parker Brothers to KILL people, but not to feed, clothe or shelter them.
-A completely divided society, brought about by petty name calling and branding people as terminolgy instead of humans.
-Total lack of help to the Darfur region and other areas where truly unspeakable tragedies occur daily, while we feel other areas (oil) are more important.
-Real Estate prices falling for two years, first time since before the depression.
-The neutering of the UN, when we went into IRAQ, after the UN said NO. This will allow other countries (China) to take pre-emptive actions, as well.
I could continue.

Come November, we''ll show the world how democracy REALLY works.

Yes, this incident is unfortunate, but we still treat the Iraqis better than they treat themselves. At least we feel bad when we kill innocents.

Comparing the "political climate" of today with WW2, there was no significant concern for the German civilians in the final days of the war (Dresden, for example). Is this an indication that we have become soft or does our side so overwhealmingly outmatch the other side that we have the luxury of such "compassion?"

I sincerely hope it is the latter.

Imagine a bank robber running and shooting from the bank being confronted by police. The bank robber grabs your 4 + 5 year olds to use as human shields while he continues to fire on the police. Do the police fire back mowing down your children in the process of stopping the robber or wait to confront the robber when it is safe to do so? This sad example routinely occurs daily in Iraq and innocents are murdered in the name of protecting us!

Would it be ok if we put your children on the front lines?

Hummmm - "will be joining in 2010"?
bobmarisol,
All I felt is you have spewed a tons of "Hot Air".
If you REALLY felt so strongly about GWB''''s unilaterally preemptive instigated invasion of IRAQ - then by all means, join the military service NOW and volunteer your so-much needed sacrifice in IRAQ!
Only God knows from now until 2010, how many troops will be either died or maimed for life all because of your refusal to join right NOW?!
You are nothing but a joke and coward!

He knows that President Obama will have most / all of the troops out of there by then.

Then he can claim, "I was going to join, but the war ended before I could!! I''m not a coward!! I really was going to join!!"

If he was going to join, he would join now as an infantry lieutenant, and finish his education when he came back. Or should I say, IF he came back.

-What is at stake is the safety of the American people and the freedom of the Iraqi people. If we lose in Iraq, Al Queda will have another safe haven from which to plan attacks against us. Does anybody really want another 9/11? Of course not - but that is the type of future we will be faced with if we surrender Iraq to the terrorists.

Posted by bobmarisol at 04:39 PM : May 22, 2008

Absolute *********. Faced with competition by developing countries for dwindling resources the U.S. invaded Iraq to secure the world''s 2nd largest oil reserves for itself. Its no more complicated than that.
