notblue,,,, What happened to the evidence that was supposed to be delivered by our military yesterday of Iran supplying the insurgents with munitions ???

From what I heard, weapons experts examined the matrial & found none of it was Iranian.... I''m waiting for more verification on that.

first off ... you didn''t answer the question. here it is again ... did saddam have anything to do with 9/11?

it''s not that hard to answer ... unless of course, answering it blows your idiotic rants out of the water.

then loan me your secret decoder ring for the babble you responded with.

16 of the 19 hijackers were saudi.

(AP) The Bush administration repeatedly ignored corruption at the highest levels within the Iraqi government and kept secret potentially embarrassing information so as not to undermine its relationship with Baghdad, according to two former State Department employees.
********************************************

What a surprise...not. This is the most corrupt, evil, damaging, administration that the US has had in its history, so what else would you expect from it. There is absolutely nothing Bush could do that would surprise me, other than act like a decent human being.

This is why the war on terror is ridiculous. They were INDIVIDUALS that attacked and not nation=states. Obviously not justified in the context GW put it in....again, dumb and arrogant.

It was done by a bunch of religious fanatics recruited by Al Queda, a bunch of mercenaries created by the United States, in the Afghani/Russian war.

Didn''t really have anything to do with religious extremes, the fanatics were used by the mercenaries to do it.

artl, the reason Sadam was removed from power was that the vast majority of Americans on both sides of the isle felt he was a THREAT. Can you grasp that concept? JUst because you are a hindsite genious does not make the original rational wrong. Why is that so hard for you politically driven haters to comprehend?
Posted by notblue at 05:36 PM : May 13, 2008

I''m against it because it was politically stupid and economically stupid. If you''re dead set on removing all bad people from leadership positions, we may as well invade and take half of Africa, Pakistan, Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and many more......why is one more significant than another.....or do we need to try other options. Again, Saddam was a bad guy, but Bush 41 realized he served a purpose and left him in power. Clinton did the same....too bad that much of what 41 predicted has come true under his son....very sad.

notblue,,, We went into Iraq based on single source intel from political despots & none of it was verifiable,,, In fact info that they were not credible was immediatly dismissed, & it all was driven by this White House & Cheney''s people in the Pentagon.

Bush 41 didn''t care about the Kuwaiti''s...he just wanted to protect the oil fields where US oil producers have all those PSA agreements.

Had he invaded another country that didn''t have oil, he''d have sat on his hands and hoped they killed each other.
