(Excerpt from story in SALON)

"The pressure from above for more bodies was also toxic in Iraq, where the isolated, outnumbered and outgunned snipers of the 1st Battalion had to make split-second life-or-death decisions. When those decisions landed them in a military court, it was the lowest-ranking soldiers, not the brass, who paid the price, and a sergeant who said he was pushed into taking a fatal shot who wound up with a long prison sentence. It was battalion commander Lt. Col Robert Balcavage, who pushed for a higher body count, who initiated the prosecution of three of the battalion''s snipers. "Yes, the chain of command deserves to burn in hell," one sniper who served with the unit wrote Salon in an e-mail. "But I am not going on record saying that, well, cause I am still in the *** Army."

Notice how no high ranking military officer is ever held accountable for these War Crimes, when it is THEY who give the orders to be carried out.
It is nothing but an extension of the Bush/Cheney Crime Cartel and their Minions, who never have been held to account for their many and heinous crimes.
Time for a War Crimes Tribunal.
Arrest and hold Shrub and Darth for Mass Murder and Treason.
When they say:
"But we''re innocent"!!!, we''ll answer, "So"???

"I think that''s really what the FBI investigation needs to look at: Is the company culpable or are the individuals culpable?" Greg Starr, the department''s top security officer, said.

This situation is DEPLORABLE! Why does the U.S. military even employ "contractors" for their operations? If our military is no longer capable of "war", then why the h*ll are we there in the first place? I remember when the military took care of itself in every aspect, so why has Bush decided that independent contractors are necessary now? Could it be the prospect of more money in the admins pockets? Certainly appears that way to me and a lot of others. This is PREPOSTEROUS and Bushco should be held accountable along with Blackwater, KBR and Halliburton - money peddlers to the Bushco personal pockets! HOLD BUSHCO RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS NEEDLESS WASTED WAR AND ALL THE EVILS IT SPAWNED!
