Seems like the Iraqi government has learned an important lesson from the Decider. Even if you can''t accomplish anything, say you did anyway.

Not that it would really matter if they had actually caught this guy. How many times have we heard that the capture of some al Qaeda leader had "critically wounded" their movement?

The truth is, their leaders are totally expendable and easily replaced. Most of the assessments that I have seen conclude that a Qaeda only continues to get stronger despite our best efforts.

Al Qaeda is less than 10% of the enemy that we are fighting in Iraq. The vast majority are Iraqis who don''t want us there.

Sounds like the typical BS we all have come to expect from this f*cked up "WMD/spreading democracy/whatever excuse" this disaster called Iraq has become. Whatever the truth is, the American people won''''t get it. Also another example of how well the Iraq military and the US military work together.

They made the announcement they captured him before they had the name of his successor. That is so unlike them...just how do they think they can keep this up for 100 years...

The funny thing about Al Qaeda is that everyone is number 2. That''s why no superpower has ever won a war against guerilla fighters. That was how we gained our independence from England. Take away the command structure, take off your uniforms, and you''ve already won.
