J, yeah McCain really hurt America on that tanker deal.

The USAF got 179 larger, newer technology Airbus planes for the same price as the 100 Boeing planes.

If you do not get competition you do not get efficiency in government spending.

Don,,, Oh I see, it''s spring in Iraq & everything is popping up roses - Spring, mating season

Yes McCain is more of the same in selling out our national security assets & you know it, it was trough his efforts that went directly against our Air Force & Trade Policies in the Air Force Super Tanker deal to AirBus

J, it is Spring in Iraq and the only decent time of the year there. Same reason student riots normally occur in the Spring throughout the world. (and Popes visit) Of course the crazies are out but I suspect it is but a blip in their ultimate demise.

My comment is really towards trying to tie McCain to the selling out of America. Tough sell. He has not had the authority to do that and actually voted against the military industrial complex many, many times the most recent pressuring DOD to re-open tanker bidding after the Boeing insider actions.

donbl1,,,, How so ?? --- It''s not old news,, New news is Iraq violence is up in many areas in Iraq, 2 Marines in Anbar are new casualties in McCain''s Progress ---- Not even the UAE is for Bush or McCain''s wars or foreign policies, they say his war is a failure.

Hmmm I thought we moved on from Al Queda to terrorists and keep hearing something about "winning".
I though I heard something about "major combat is over" or "Mission Accomplished" or something about "Victory".
This sounds like the same ole song "Saddam has WMD''s", "We are there to free the Iraqis" (would that be the same ones being killed like 655,000 and displacing over a million?) and as of late--we''re going to "get" all the terrorists.

So does this mean we never really did get Al Queda--or at least not "all" of them--do I sense a new theme song here?
