Iraqi Police, Army Members Dismissed After Deserting In Face Of Basra Militias Last Month
- Sorry, I will not give up any of my liberties or rights guaranteed me as a U.S. citizen in the Constitution Bill of Rights. No eavesdropping on my internet use or my phone calls, no invading my home without due process, no arrests without probable cause or due process. And I will not sit idly by why the Patriot Act and other measures do these to other U.S. citizens. Like I asked earlier, where do you draw the line? Do you think its the end of bush/cheney''s attempts to shred the Constitution? When its your turn, you better hope that there are others left to fight for you, even tho'' you were on the sidelines saying ''It''s not about me''. That was the feeling in Germany when the government started its crackdowns, first the Catholics and intellectuals/teachers, then the gypsies, the unions, the Jews, the mentally and physically handicapped. It wouldn''t have stopped until there were ''their'' people wereleft. Here, it may not be following the same groups, but it is a slow erosion of our civil rights. But there are people, like me, who will fight for you.

- I just love how the left decides they know everything and can speak for everyone, even when they are in a different country.

wow, you sure have a face to say that a be a right wing fascist. How was your decision to invade Iraq for their own good received there? I guess you were wrong. It only took over 4000 dead and counting to show you how wrong you were, how many more will it take?. More importantly, it took hundreds of thousands of innocent dead iraqis and millions of refugees. Talk about a person that speaks in the name of an entire country even though you don''t live in it......moron! - Reply to this comment
- No draft, we need to bring them home. Not just the military in Iraq, but how about the troops in Africa, South America, Philippines, the list goes on. We have to stop being the world''s military watch dogs and advisers. AND we need to get rid of the elitist, contemptuous, greedy bloated Republicans out of the White House and Congress. I''m not just talking about the politician, but the lobbyists who have purchased the Republican Party. And, sir, your insults and screaming to not make your position more understandable or acceptable.

- Torture doesn''''t work, people will tell you anything as long as you stop. They will give you unreliable information, and against terrorism it doesn''''t work because you are fighting a mobile force that constantly changes, they are not like an army but rather a cell. The US doesn''''t seem to learn, in vietnam we tortured vietcong left and right and they still kicked our arses. In iraq, the same thing, it''''s been five years of same old same old.......they haven''''t attacked us in our home again since 9-11 because they don''''t want to, not because we prevented anything. There are thousands of illegals coming in every day through our unguarded boarders, the terrorists could do the same very easily but they chose not to. Today we just created another 1300 terrorists, and believe me, these are not the only iraqui army or police members of a militia, there are thousands more probably hiding in the ranks.

- Part 2 of Revolution at Hand
Freedoms.... do you remember saying good bye, Premeditated disaster of terror unleashed on 911 without surprise... no tear to be found upon a cheek that was and still is dry.
Death to the world is his motto an angel of darkness come disguised as an angel of light, upon the wings of an owl god he does worship with world leaders at the Bohemian Grove... seeking to take all without a fight. Yes...we know the truth of the matter as fact,
Deception is the rule of his tongue, wake up America... He is making War with Iran in an unholy pact. Why did he sign the order follow him with out question and his approval stamp, The zones have been finalized and underground prisons built American Troops none insight as your dying in a death camp.
We the People of the United States of America
have the RIGHT to FREEDOM in which we STAND,
President Bush...This is the TRUTH of your FINAL NOTICE Militia Men stand your ground for...

- What do you think about this poem I found?
REVOLUTION IS AT HAND it%u2019s time for America,
We the People are tired of the lies
Now is the time to take a stand.
While we don%u2019t support the war in Iraq,we do support our troops, President Bush lied to the world
thousands have died while he sits on his throne and poops. Yes...laughter is what we need,
Even in the shadow of a dictator that pretends to be a bush with the actual truth being is certainly a poisonous weed. No control is the issue
for the people have no say, As dictators go... He proclaims with indignation %u201CI am the last president in this land, they must obey%u201D. - Reply to this comment
- dumbshun: why the Hussein when discussing Obama? Do you always say George Walker Bush? Did you always say George Herbert Walker Bush? No, you just want to show how subtle you can be trying to show a little bigotry. You have lost most of your credibility with that one issue.

- BESIDES, WHY SHOULD ONE BE AFRAID OF, IF ONE HAS NOTHING TO HIDE?
ISN"T IT WORTH LOSING SOME OF OUR PRIVILIFGES, IF IT HELPS TO CATCH THE EVIL-DOERS?
dumbshun said
Yes, you should be very afraid. Everyone has something to hide according to the intelligence community. American citizens are being held without due process and without probable cause (no real evidence) in unknown locations, without contact with family or legal advice. Many are released after months or years without any charges. This is so wrong on many fronts. It the government has no checks, who will be next and who will be there to protect you? The no fear, because I have done no wrong is one of our biggest fallacies. That attitude is the result of government propaganda of fear to control its citizens. Every despotic government has used that mantra to manipulate and manage its citizens. We must know and learn from history.
As Benjamen Franklin said: those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. Most Americans will not give up the rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights without a fight. Where do you draw the line? What rights are you or are you not willing to give up? Its a slippery slope, my friend. - Reply to this comment

- dumbshun,,,, England is also aware of the fact Bush, McCain & their GOP has not won the war, but, escellated the problems & now have undermanned & underfunded Afhaganistan --- They don''t want "More of the Same" either.

- dumbshun: You did contradict yourself, actually. You said someone was stupid by questioning why McCain hasn''t released plans for war in Iraq - no one advertises to the enemy. But you then say you will vote for McCain because HIS PLAN for Iraq is a winner.

- dumbshun,,,, Of course England is concerned about the situation with terrorism, they are a lot closer to it than we are. And they recognize the problems Bush''s War of Roses in Iraq has caused for them.

- We are in an active war in Afghanistan and Iraq. We are spending in excess of 200 million on military aid in Latin America, including US military bases and military providing training, check out our involvement in Africa-its mind numbing, US troops fighting in the Philippines. Even bush has admitted we do not have enough troops on US soil to respond or defend against acts of terrorism
