Yes...Iraqis just named a whole section of Baghdad "Sadr City" after his father, because they don''t care for him. ...they just allowed Amadinejad to motor through Baghdad unmolested...something that Americans dare not do.

Troops Home Now! Stop wasting lives and treasure for the sake of Big Oil, Israel and the Dollar!

The facts are hard for you Sadr and Iranian supporters to accept. Iraq does not want Sadr involved with their politics; he is Iran''s religious and political puppet. Sadr''s army will fall to an ashen ruins and the remains will run to their fearless leader hiding in Iran. The Iraqi people doesn''t want the likes of him running loose in their country.

TROOPS HOME NOW! THE ENEMY IS IN WASHINGTON! DOWN WITH THE REGIME!

The Iraqis, overwhelmingly, wish us gone. If we were serious about our support for democracy, we would no longer be in Iraq.

The Iraqi and US Armies are hitting Sadr''s forces enough that he is calling Uncle. He want to keep them intact for another 18 months so when he returns to Iraq they''ll be trained, well equipped and ready to over throw Iraq''s elected government.

No quarter should be given to this Iranian puppet and its proxy army.

Bush is doing exactly what the people who want to destroy America want him to do. Iraq is a black hole that will continue to suck in American lives and treasure until we are on our knees as a nation. Bush and his friends will have cashed in by that time and leave the rest of us with the job of rebuilding America if that''s even possible.

If you break into someone elses home, rape and murder their family, and attempt to steal their possessions, you shouldn''t come whining and crying for sympathy when the owner starts kicking your asss.
WE are the bad guys here. WE are the Terrorists.
This is what happens when you elect a Drunken, Crackheaded, AWOL/Deserter, Coward, and Idiot Son of a Criminal Family of Nazi Associates, to the office of President.
It just isn''t a very good idea.

Anyone who does not understand why they fight us has a poor understanding of human nature. It was a mistake to go in there.

Yep, the surge is working. All we need is around another 100 years or so, and this war will be over.

"...understand why we are there, and the mission." Posted by Swwils

Then you understand more than Bush does, because all Bush wants is to control the oil, and rip off the treasury in the bargain. Syria, and Iran are no threat to the US, whatever they do over there is their business, not ours. We can repel any attack they might launch against us, or don''t you trust your fellow soldiers to be up to the job?

If you want to posit that oil is a vital interest worth dying over, then "re up", and go for it. No matter who controls the oil there, it is the western refineries that determine the price, they are the ones squeezing the US'' throats.

This is capitalism, no pay, no play. You supported it, you fought for it, you supported the trickle downers and voted fr it, but now new players are coming to the table with better cards than you, now you want to change the rules?

It doesn''t work that way, we don''t control the rules anymore, son.

It is clear that Bush intends to prolong the civil war in Iraq, by killing the number 1 contender to become the power in Iraq, because he has so far shown no sign of being Bush''s girlfriend, other than that little favor he did Bush of lynching Saddam after the US military handed Saddam over to him.

Apparently Bush''s idea of democracy is to kill any leaders that might stand in the way of the big oil concerns, leaving only pro Bush people alive.

This will be a long genocide campaign.

I think is about time that Iraq started policing their own.We can oversee and train them, but we need to take a break, and back off a little. This country is tired, war is hell on the home front also.I have family both in Iraq, and Afghanistan which I understand why we are there, and the mission.I am a 12 yr Army,SF soldier, disabled. We have got to regroup and get ready for those idiots that are in control of Iran, and Syria. It is coming and most don''t see it!

Sadr''s militia play the game don''t they. It should be accepted by now that these type of groups -- just like Hamas and others -- simply need to be destroyed. They use time to re-arm, re-build, and plan for more chaos. The lull that Sadr''s militia provided earlier seems nothing more than a ploy as they equipped themselves for a fight; assisted by Iranian arms and military personnel. Sadr should have been taken-out years ago. Now Iraq has their own "gaza" strip!
