Photos of the lastest clashes with Iran''s Mahdi Army shows they have been re-equipped with new and current versions of AK 47s. They now sport body armor that can double as shrapnel with a bomb vest. The RPGs and other new weapons have no visible wear and shine as if they just came off the terrorists show room floor.

yongamerica,

Actually-

"Seven out of 10 Iraqis want foreign forces to leave: poll"

"LONDON: More than two-thirds of Iraqis believe US-led coalition forces should leave, according to a poll conducted for British television ahead of the fifth anniversary of the Iraq invasion. The ORB/Channel 4 News survey suggested that 70 percent thought multinational forces should withdraw....Some 81 percent had suffered power cuts and 43 percent had experienced drinking water shortages. In the last month, more than a quarter (28 percent) had been short of food....Less than a quarter (23 percent) thought military action would prove to have been in Iraq%u2019s long-term interests...ORB and its local partner IIACSS interviewed 4,000 Iraqis in person between February 24 and March 5. afp"

The Iraqi "government" is largely a puppet-government, and they are a joke- a bad one.

BaghdadsHere,,,,, Both Iraq & Afhagainistan need billions more per month to provide any measure of progress & Tax Cuts along with privatization adds to the problems -------- McCian isn''t adddressing those issues & his economic policies will bring less revenue to our country.

- Pentagon "accidentally" loses a quarter million weapons in Iraq

- Pentagon "accidentally" flies nuclear weapons around USA, all willy-nilly

- Pentagon "accidentally" tortures people to death

- Pentagon stands by with thumbs in arse, as missile slams into building

FellFree1,,,Israel has just eliminated one more Radical Sheik from Hezbollah. Hassan Nasrallah and Muqtada al-Sadr will have the same destiny. Theres no place for radical regimes in the middle east anymore. I know you dont like Nuri Al-Maliki because hes too moderate and you love extremist like AhMadinejad the nuts.

Thoughout history illegal militias have cause great problems for socities.

A good example in American history is when the Democrats created the illegal militia, the KKK.

Created after the Civil War, the KKK was brutal in their treatment of Blacks.

The Democrats controlled the South and Black Americans with an "iron fist" from the 1860''s to the 1960''s.

It really is a bad stain on our American history.

Thanks Democrats................

Simple. This government was installed under the boot of a brutal and illegal invasion, with candidates that were largely approved of by the illegal occupiers, most of whose names did not even appear on the ballots and did not campaign, candidates who are ignoring the will of those whom they supposedly govern, and lack any real sovereignty, as I have already pointed out.

FellFree1,,,And I am sure you jihadiot would like to see in Iraq a radical regime supported by Iran. No chance. Hassan Nasrallah and Muqtada al Sadr will lose.

Posted by j-whitman at 06:16 PM : Mar 25, 2008

J-WHITMAN,,,,,you and FellFree1 should make up your minds. There will be violence, fire fighting in Iraq for the next few years just like in Lebanon, Gaza, etc. Dont expect the US to make any magic. In the long term the Iraq security forces will be trained and prepared to handle their daily violence. America trained and prepared the Security forces of Saudi Arabia and Kwait and will do the same with the Iraqis. Just be patient.

McCain would probably even get us involved in another war that we dont need to get involved in. Republicans are very agressive - a lot like some drunk guy who had too much to drink at a bar. "Bring it on" - GW Bush. Good thing he eventually said that was the comment he regretted most - it certainly was the stupidest - and how many stupid things to choose from.
