Top U.S. Commander Tells Cami McCormick Why Progress Isn't Yet Cause For Celebration

- Here is an article where the incompetent, lying Betrayus claims that "clerical errors" led to the thousands of missing weapons...If anyone has ever checked a weapon out of an armory, one knows that one does not just walk in and walk out...there are controls--serious controls...
One also knows that American officers held the leash of the Iraqi security forces...no NCO or officer is going to release weapons that he has signed for without a direct order and the receipt...no supply officer is going to play the "weapons fairy" and leave a load of weapons under the Iraqis pillows...
There was a policy in place--and the Americans who oversaw this weapons dispersal are responsible for the loss...loose one weapon and see what happens if you are a grunt at Fort Bragg...lose thousands and see what happens to a general in Iraq... - Reply to this comment

If you were in the military, you may have recognized the meaning behind my ID:
inf = infantry
e5 = sergeant (pay grade)
Now go do something meaningful with your life. - Reply to this comment
Admiral Fallon provided a very apt assessment of General Betrayus, when he said:
"...that he considered him to be %u201Can ***-kissing little chickensh*t%u201D and added, %u201CI hate people like that%u201D- Reply to this comment
- I could spend all day going back and forth, but really, what''s the point?
You have proven nothing, and I have resorted to personal attacks because of the ludicrous nature of your posts. I will apologize for the name calling, but this is not worth my time. - Reply to this comment
- While Betrayus and his minions turned over thousands of weapons to the insurgency through their criminality and/or incompetence, the de-bathefication program had already led to the dismissing of the army and the police...How better to create chaos?

You moron. Petraeus led his division in combat during the push into Baghdad during the start of the war. He then operated in the vicinity of Mosul. He has seen combat.
Your other brilliant points are based on speculation at best and mostly blatant conspiracy. If you deny that, you are a lost cause.
No one denies that the situation in Iraq is precarious. It was badly mismanaged from the start; largely due to Rumsfeld and Bremer''s de-Bathification policy. However, to imply that the US military has murdered a million people is so outrageously idiotic; I would say that opinion is due to mental deficiency.
You are a hate-filled coward and sniveling low-life. You detest others'' personal sacrifices and integrity because you know you have none yourself. I would guess that the only thing you have ever contributed to your country is taxes, and that only because you have to. You are a waste of oxygen. Your thoughts and opinions are beneath contempt.
Chew on this: I can confidently say with satisfaction that I am better than you in every respect of the word. - Reply to this comment
- In Iraq the weasel-protege of Barney accuses the Iranians of supplying the freedom fighters...yet his first attempt to prove this was such a farce! They showed a table full of Eastern European weaponry...
And, who left hundreds of tons of Iraqi weapons and explosives unguarded when they invaded--and went straight to their goal...the Ministry of Oil? And, did the press think to ask General Betrayus if he had ever reaquired the thousands of missing weapons that he was responsible for?--NO!! Mission Accomplished in Iraq! Chaos out of Order! Women and children raped and molested and abused by our cur-dog Jack Bauer want-a-bes...Abu Ghraib! Where our ''honourable'' intentions toward Iraq stand exposed in pyramids of naked, tortured humanity!
Demopublican ''honour'' is something found in the gutter and best left untouched by men who value human life and dignity and genuine honour, truth and integrity. - Reply to this comment
- It is not enough that the US supports terrorism in the Middle East...We support it in the Balkans...We support it in the form of death squads in Central and South America...We harbour terrorists!! The bomber of the airline that led to the murder of dozens of young Cuban sportsmen is sheltered by the United States! The British keep Boris Beresovsky, the felon wanted for in Russia, who brags to the French papers that he supports Chechen terrorists, safe from justice. Success!! Success!! Success!! Only Demopublican dogs support this kind of organized Corporate criminality!!

- FREE IRAQ! Dung-eating Demopublican dogs have no honour...They launch wars based on lies and brag of "successes" which exist only in their own minds...
Is it a ''success'' to murder a million people to remove one man? To create 4 million refuges? To destroy the civilian infrastructure of a natioin? To murder and humiliate the civilian population...shoot down its women and children for sport and murder dogs, puppies and sheep for laughs? No!! Only scum support such things...such creatures...such villainy.
And, to top our ''success'' in Iraq...our sacrifices for Big Oil, Israel and the Dollar...we have our ''successes'' in Afghanistan! We restored and redoubled opium production in that country! We protect with our soldiers, Marines and airmen the Kabul Regime of the drug lords!
And!...in Kosovo, we and our erstwhile creatures--the al Qaeda--support an INTERPOL-named drug gang--the KLA!! A drug gang whose heirarchy contains al Qaeda terrorist...a drug gang protected by the armed might of the United States!! - Reply to this comment

- Police Chief Petreaus 9/11/2007
He then asked Petraeus a pointed question: "Do you feel that [Iraq war] is making America safer"?
Petraeus paused before responding. He then said: "I believe this is indeed the best course of action to achieve our objectives in Iraq."
That was, of course, a non-answer. And Warner wasn''t going to let the general dodge the bullet. He repeated the question: "Does the [Iraq war] make America safer?"
Petraeus replied, "I don''t know, actually. I have not sat down and sorted in my own mind."
Don''t know? Is it possible that the war is not making the United States safer? Petraeus went on to note that he has "taken into account" the war''s impact on the U.S. military and that it''s his job to recommend to the president the best course for reaching "the objectives of the policy" in Iraq. Yet he did not say that the Iraq war is essential to the national security of the United States. - Reply to this comment
- Infe5 & JERsupporter-- Is it "honour" to fake intelligence to gain the support of the American electorate for a war based on 935 lies against a hapless land?...to destroy its civilian infrastructure?...to murder its women and children?... Honourable people do not do this! The Demopublican Regime and its arse-licking minions-- like yourselves--do this.
Betrayus is perfectly safe! Just like Cheney and McCain when they came a callin''...Even Hitler could see the sights in Paris after success in war against France. Betrayus is safe...just like Schwartzkopf was safe, in a bunker hundreds of feet below the desert while his adjutant was on the surface with the troops and like the troops suffering form the effects of that lying creature''s orders to blow up bio-chem munitions inappropriately to hide the fact that they were provided by the US and its friends. 250,000 American veterans are on disability now because of the first war for Big Oil against the people of Iraq.
Four thousand soldiers have died on the ground in Iraq in this war...many more have died in the ground or in the lovely kennel-hopitals provided by Barney''s protege and his masters...the tres brav Betrayus, Bush and Cheney. - Reply to this comment

You are brilliant...insult the only man who has made progress in the current situation. You blame policy decisions on a commander who only executes policy (and very well I might add). And to top it off, you imply cowardice in a man who risks his life daily, has been in combat many times, and has shown courage and honor on multiple occasions. All while you criticize in a lowly sniveling manner from a position of safety. You have no idea what honor and personal sacrifice are, and you are obviously confused when someone else displays those traits. I have served in the infantry, and these guys have intestinal fortitude in ample supply. You are gutless. Posted by infe5

LMAO - nice comeback to PrinzoWhining. Perhaps someone drove too fast in his cul-de-sac and he is upset. PrinzoWhining would not know the first thing about Duty, Honor and Success. His nutzsack is shriveled by his cowardly rhetoric behind his computer screen. Typical blamer. - Reply to this comment

- Barney''s protege, General Betrayus, must be feeling his oats...with his arch-nemesis Admiral Fallon leaving Central Command...He''s out there trying to boost the price of real estate in Ninevah...in American blood...in American treasure....in Iraqi suffering...
He refuses to aknowledge that the overwhelming majority of Iraqis want us gone...but, we''ve already seen the value that the Demopublican Regime puts on democracy in Palestine...
He refuses to acknowledge that al Qaeda came to Iraq with us. Not a word....His master said this war based on lies was "worth it"...Betrayus certainly thinks so...He gets to puff and prance behind his human shield of soldiers and Marines...These Demopublican ''saviours of Iraq'' dare not walk among those whose benefactors they claim to be without a wall of security to protect their sorry hides from a swift and just retribution. FREE IRAQ!! - Reply to this comment
Re: "al Qaeda remains a very lethal enemy... capable of lashing out at any given time."
Really? Because months ago they were declared "defeated" again. What happened?- Reply to this comment
Yes, please tell us what General Betrayus thinks about it.
Here''s what the people of Iraq think about it:
"Seven out of 10 Iraqis want foreign forces to leave: poll"
"LONDON: More than two-thirds of Iraqis believe US-led coalition forces should leave, according to a poll conducted for British television ahead of the fifth anniversary of the Iraq invasion. The ORB/Channel 4 News survey suggested that 70 percent thought multinational forces should withdraw."- Reply to this comment
