I''m not voting for McCain. I used to admire the guy but the fact he thinks Al Quaeda (Sunni fanatics) are being trained in Iran (a Shiite government) after five years of this debacle clearly shows he doesn''t have a clue. He made the same mistake TWICE on one trip.

He''s going to propose we stay another 100 years in Iraq when he doesn''t have a clue what''s going on there? He sounds just like Bush, utterly clueless.

Not to mention he cowed down to Bush and supported Bush''s veto of the anti-torture bill when he said he had been tortured as a POW in Vietnam. Now tell me what''s wrong with this picture?

Gore and Kerry had their share of faults but I don''''t think we would be in Iraq, nor in as much debt or the economic mess we''''re currently in had Bush not won.

Bush has a vision of changing the Middle East that the others don''t have.

History will decide if Bush was a visionary man with a visionary plan to drag the Middle East into the 21 th Century or just a stupid man with a stupid plan.

Oh well, at least you were honest about it.

I am honest to a fault, I won''''t lie to you.

I have personal issues with Kerry, that is one reason why I voted for Bush again.

Problems with Kerry? Mostly from all the Swiftboaters I would presume? Gore and Kerry had their share of faults but I don''t think we would be in Iraq, nor in as much debt or the economic mess we''re currently in had Bush not won. But we''ll never know.

If Americans want to protect the "American Way of Life" due process, habeas corpus, our Constitutional freedoms and rights to privacy, search and seizure; against torture, for justice for everyone.

They need to help remove Bush/Cheney from office asap.

Gotta hand it to the Prez though. That speech was the most amazing denial of reality since the former Iraqi Information Minister claimed that there were no American troops in Bagdhad. At least ''Comical Ali'' realized that he was full of it. The Shrub will end up spending the rest of his days wandering the country, insisting that it only LOOKED like his presidency was an abject failure.

Did you vote for Chimp twice?

Posted by waynabq at 10:51 PM : Mar 19, 2008

Yes I did, and I voted for Carter twice; when Dole and Clinton ran, I voted for a third party candidate.

Posted by AJMarine1 at 10:54 PM : Mar 19, 2008

Just about everyone I respected and who had any clue about the candidates knew Bush was going to be a disaster since 2000. Like one of my friends said, I can see someone making a mistake once but the same mistake twice....Oh well, at least you were honest about it.

Talking about Al Qaeda training in Iran and Lieberman had to straighten him out.

The look on McCains face reminded me of Bush.

Posted by AJMarine1 at 10:56 PM : Mar 19, 2008

I know - I was being sarcastic.

Two weeks ago he called himself a liberal.

Today he released a PRINTED statement that had the same al Qaeda in Iran mistake on it - the day AFTER Lieberman had corrected him.

The guy is a mess.

We lost many of our freedoms in the name of security from Bush, not the terrorists.
Bush has done great damage to our civil liberties from one attack. If we get attacked again, expect martial law, fema camps and microchips, in the name of "security". Folks, there''s a reason why those FEMA camps are built near railroads. It happened in this country before with the japanese and it happened in europe with the jews. Youtube/google FEMA Camps.

Cheney isn''''t declaring victory in Iraq.

He''''s openly stating that he doesn''''t give a damm what the American public thinks at all.

Did anyone see the Martha Radditz interview today?

Technically, you''re right, but he may as well have, he termed the Iraqi War "A Successful Endeavor".

http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSL0157942120080317?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews

Bush did say "Mission Accomplished" and that "We had prevailed..." more than two years ago? Now if the current state in Iraq can be termed "a Sucess and a victory". I would hate to see how Bush/Cheney characterize a "failure".

I''m laughing my *** off. Only the stupidest, most delusional gullible idiot would by this cr@p after seven years of it. It doesn''t matter how ludicrous it is, Bush''s diehard supporters (sheeple) are going to swallow and go along with it.

If you support this war you''''''''re out of touch with America.
YOUR WAY OFF ON THAT FIGURE, SECOND OF ALL I WOULD SAY AMERICAS FREEDOM IS WORTH IT.
Posted by Hillarygrl34 at 10:29 PM : Mar 19, 2008

America was free before 911---America is still free and America will ALWAYS be free---just because ole George opened the gates of heII--the fire will be put out by a more intelligent, sane and logical leader.

Bush can rot in the fire he started.

Amen to that! It''''s nice to see that Americans on either side of the political spectrum can still agree on issues!

We are suppose to discuss things on here, not see who can call someone else the worst names because they don''t agree with you point of view.

I just want what''s best for the country.

Iraqi oil was going to pay for the war too. Now Bush and Cheney are declaring victory in Iraq but we can''''t pull any troops out because it''''s still too dangerous to do so!!!

To call Bush''''s supporters fu*king idiots has got to be the understatement of the century.
