D*ick Cheney and Condi Rice and John McCain think so. They reason with Prime Minister al Malaki and his cabinet members all the time.
Some Muslims you can reason with, some you can"t.
Just like with tha Japanese. You can"t reason with those Yakuza gangs over there. - Reply to this comment

- Luis Clemente Faustino Posada Carriles (born February 15, 1928) is a Cuban-born Venezuelan anti-Castro terrorist. A former CIA operative, Posada has been convicted in absentia of involvement in various terrorist attacks and plots in the Western hemisphere, including involvement in the 1976 bombing of a Cuban airliner that killed seventy-three people[1][2] and has admitted to his involvement in other terrorist plots including a string of bombings in 1997 targeting fashionable Cuban hotels and nightspots.[3][4][5] In addition, he was jailed under accusations related to an assassination attempt on Fidel Castro in Panama in 2000, although he was later pardoned by Panamanian President Mireya Moscoso in the final days of her term.[6][7]

America should always keep her promises.

Heck no. Having to take your shoes off in restaurants every time, must have been a real pain.
ZERO DEATHS IN COMBAT AFTER THE OCCUPATION.

- He said there is sufficient evidence linking Posada to "some of the most infamous crimes of the 20th century" including the bombing of the Cubana de Aviacion jet over Barbados that killed 73 people, the Iran-Contra scandal and the bombings of Havana hotels in 1997....
and here we are, with the U.S. Refusing to turn over a known terrorist to justice.....

- "over 10,000 terrorist attacks committed by Muslims since 9/11/01 (a rate of about three or four a day), is incomplete because only a small percentage of attacks were picked up by international news sources, even those resulting in multiple loss of life."

- RE: "We have bases in Japan, been there 60 years."
Not one of the candidates has complained about that.
That isn"t even a campaign issue.
If America"s presence in Iraq was like the one in Japan, that wouldn"t be an issue either.

We may have some troops risking knee injuries in touch football games at those bases.
But the WAR -- your beloved WAR -- is coming to an end very quickly when our man Barack Obama becomes president.
After that you"ll have to do your own fighting, instead of offering to hold somebody"s coat while they fight for you.

- So we should only save white Europeans from treachorous regimes?I mean the guys in the mideast behead children. Burn children and women alive. Throw acid on womens faces if they show them in public. Blow up weddings funerals and schools. Love to do suicide bombings in Mosques. I guess hitler and his bunch were alot worst because they killed white people mostly. I mean it was worth 100 million people to free the people of Europe. Weve barely broken hundred thousand in MidEast but you guys are ready to give up. Were at a half trillion and counting way short of our three trillion spent fighting for white Europeans. You know those people in the mideast dont want freedom because theyre arent realy people.

I''d like for YOU to go get a tape of Sir Lies-A-Lot''s speech to this Nation and Congress when he asked for the authority to go into Iraq. LISTEN to it, first take the swastika''s out of your ears, but LISTEN to it. THAT is the reason''s America was given for this stupid WAR. WMD''s and Saddam''s connection to Bin Laden. The rest has just been made up as you went along!! Sieg Heil Bush - Reply to this comment

Whenever the posters here become frustrated because I refute their points until they have none left, then they usually resort to name calling. When they call me a "liberal" I thank them for the compliment, and wear their intended "insult" as a badge of honor.
I do wish, however, that the IT guys at CBS can teach this program not to echo apostrophes (''), turning them into quotation marks (") - Reply to this comment

Abso-effing-lutely! I have e-mailed my representatives several times, they probably have me listed as spam by now.
Bush and his gang must be made examples of, to show to the world (and America) that no American is above American law. Even if he escapes impeachment and leaves office, we must hound these criminals, like the Nazi war criminals from the 1940s, until they are brought to and made to submit to justice. - Reply to this comment
- bwbb: you are correct. I don''t advocate systems gamed by the rich and powerful and should''ve put the "evil" more on their goverments -just can''t help using language and reverse jingoism against regressives. You know the old adage about using an opponents methods against them and we''ve watched faux and rush twisting our language this way for a while now, just take the word "liberal" and the way the jingo-frenzied use it as an insult. As I''ve alluded to, the founding fathers were considers "liberals" and would''ve been ashamed of some of the brainwashings displayed here.
