Catholics are not the only religon to kill in the name of God but if you want to believe we are so be it. I am not obsessed with the Bible as you are so I am not going to venture a guess at your questions because I would not know the answer. I do believe in the ten commandments and try to follow them the best I can but as far as the rest, it was written by man so I think alot is fairy tales.
