"wet willy klowntoon capture OBL??? i think not,,,"

It isn"t that easy to capture him.

Bush/Cheney failed also.

As the Snopes.com report documents, Clinton did make some good efforts, contrary to the right wing myths about it.

"Talk is no substitute for action."

And lies are no substitute for honest talk.

The World Trade Center was attacked weeks after Clinton began his first term.

The Clinton administration prosecuted those responsible and they are serving life sente nces in prison.

al Qaeda waited over 8 years for Clinton to leave office before they tried again.

"he was commander and chief wasn''''t he?

then he is responsible,,,"

That doesn"t mean Clinton caused those deaths, the way Bush caused the deaths inn Iraq by invading.

They would have died no matter who was president.

Stop playing with words.

And stop wasting everybody''s time.

"4,417 military deaths during the Clinton years"

How many of these was Clinton responsible for, the way Bush is responsible for the combat deaths in Iraq ?

How many would not have died if Clinton had not been president ?

Show us those.

Bill Clinton couldn"t be expected to ride along every time some GIs went out drinking, to make sure nobody got drunk and died in a car crash.

Just show us the combat deaths -- the ones Bill Clinton was actually responsible for.

The way Bush is responsible for the combat deaths in Iraq.

Just show us those.

Fill it in - How many died in combat:

1993 Combat deaths = ?
1994 Combat deaths = ?
1995 Combat deaths = ?
1996 Combat deaths = ?
1997 Combat deaths = ?
1998 Combat deaths = ?
1999 Combat deaths = ?
2000 Combat deaths = ?

It shows many more deaths than those caused by terrorist attacks.

So why the h*ell are we fighting in Iraq, over such an insignificant number ?

terrorislam3, I like when you shoot yourself in the foot.

"The Congressional Research Service" fails to show "4,417 military deaths during the Clinton years"

Lets show the real figures, since military deaths from suicide are greatly increased in the Bush years, due to the strain on the military:

4,417 military deaths during the Clinton years, due to attrition. (If that is actually a correct figure)

6,000+ deaths due to attrition under Bush.
4,000 combat deaths under Bush.

Over 10,000 military deaths under Bush.

Any group of human beings numbering in the millions will have normal attrition --- car crashes, disease, other accidents and the like.

Bush"s losses in Iraq are above and beyond the thousands he lost due to normal attrition.

terrorislam3 wants you to think that outside of combat deaths in Iraq, nobody in the military died under Bush from normal attrition, so he can equate Bush''s 4,000 in Iraq to Clinton"s 4,000 from normal attrition.

That is a SICK SICK SICK game.

"...This is from 2003 until now. I know this because we are constantly barraged with the death toll on the news every day....so you probably haven"t seen these numbers before...."

By implication you are belittling the 3,000 Americans (and many other nations) who died on 9/11.

The same game could be played with that number too.

terrorislam3...I was curious after reading your post about Clinton so I went to the source you cited to check it out. What I found was an extreme right wing site that was loaded with stories to slam the democrats. Using a site like that to back up your claims is like going to Limbaugh to verify what Hannity says. Nice try but no cigar.

Killed. Not "kulled" (and certainly not "culled")

terrorislam3 is like all those other b*astards who mocked the 3,000 Americans who died on 9/11.

You"re not very funny.

That"s normal attrition in a group numbering in the millions.

Quit mocking the dead troops in Iraq, you B*astard.

hillaryin08,

You do know that violence in Afghanistan has gone up in recent years, right? We''re not winning anything there. Also, violence in Iraq rose in February. And, tell us exactly what we''re winning in Iraq. Taking more territory? Making more Iraqis love us? Making Sunni and Shia sing Kumbaya? All I see is that we''re trying to keep a lid on a civil war and our troops keep dying.

That one is really going south.

I knew this would happen when Prince Harry left.

"Afghanistan: the Forgotten War ?

ABC News

KABUL, Afghanistan Oct 2, 2007 (AP)

Violence in Afghanistan has surged this year with suicide bombings inflicting an especially high toll on civilians, a new United Nations report says.

The report said Afghanistan is averaging 550 violent incidents a month, up from an average of 425 last year. It said three-fourths of suicide bombings are targeting international and Afghan security forces, but suicide bombers also killed 143 civilians through August.

"Suicide attacks have been accompanied by attacks against students and schools, assassinations of officials, elders and mullahs, and the targeting of police in a deliberate and calculated effort to impede the establishment of legitimate government institutions," according to the report, which was released in New York last week."
