It is all part of Bush''s vision of a way to change the Middle East and bring peace to the region.
I''m not saying he''s right, but that''s what is driving him. - Reply to this comment
- Bush can''''t be impeached for the same reason Clinton couldn''''t be impeached. The votes wouldn''''t be there to convict him.

- If the 9-11 attack was illegal, why isn''''t Bin Laden in prison?

Rosie says Bush did it.
Arabs say Israel did it.
FeelFree1 says OBL admitting that he did it is just a video that Bush madeup.

So, that''s what we tell the grand children? We had a liar and a corrupt President for 8 years and no one did anything about it.
I think the grand kids would look at us and say, "How could that be? - Reply to this comment

- AJMarine1,,,, Politics is why he''s not in prison, that & missuse of intellegence, political cronies, Alberto Gonzales & a GOP who refused every attempt at discussions & oversite on the military & intellegnce committees
--- There was several officers normaly involeved in planing that refused to help in this one because it was a war of agression & that''s aganist the rules of warfare & international treaties. - Reply to this comment

- Funny how FAUX news buried this story today -
no banner headlines, NOTHING listed on their web site over one hour after every cable and broadcast news outlet reported it.
Funy how they re-wrote the AP story, inserting their "homicide" bomber instead of "suicide" bomber, and did not re-credit the source as FAUX news.
Guess they just don''t care about the troops.
So I pray for those five families tonight. Do you think Bill O'' Reilly is? Or is he playing with his sponge? - Reply to this comment

I could say the same thing about numerous other world leaders as well - people that have committed horrendous crimes as leaders of countries.

- Not to pile on zoopster. But bush and powell and cheney made their case of war by saying over and over and over again WMD''s, nukes. Nothing about al qaeda, oil for food, ro plane flights. It was WMD''s, and they knew before invading it wasn''t true. Although I did believe their lies, and so did many others. I didn''t think my President would lie about things like that. BJ''s, yes. Nukes, no. Okay, rant over.

- Can anyone tell me why we''re still in Iraq if the majority of Iraqis don''t want us there? The majority of Iraqis think there would be less violence if we weren''t there. Do you think they may be onto something?

- Now that the Iraqi Sunnis are out of the way after they''ve aligned themselves with the US against Al Qaeda, and now that the Shiites have been quiet because of Moqtada''s good behavior, we can all see that all that remains is Al Qaeda operatives working against the US.
These are the same people that were not in Iraq before Bush invaded that country.
He''s screwed things up so badly that even if the entire country of Iraq is on our side foreign operatives have become an organic part of the landscape with a bloodline spreading out all around Iraq.
Al Qaeda should have been corraled in Afghanistan and Pakistan when we had the chance to do it back in 2001-2, instead of sacrificing thousands of American soldiers to a political cause that had nothing to do with the capture of a band of criminals. - Reply to this comment
- Koffi Annan stated that the US invasion of Iraq was illegal.

Sure - I''ll provide them after you''ve provided the source that the UN stated it was ok for the US to invade Iraq.
But you might have a hard time with that - because it doesn''t exist.
The information that I provided has numerous sources - you can even find them using Google. - Reply to this comment

You seem to be a little confused about what constitutes International Law and what doesn''t.
Only Security Council Resolutions that are made under Chapter VII are legally binding - others, are not.
There are many, many countries that don''t adhere to UN Security Council Resolutions, not just Iraq.
Many countries , and especially Israel, frequently flaunt UN Security Council Resolutions.
Regardless, it is the UN Security Council that determines the actions to be taken against a country that doesn''t uphold UNSCR''s - NOT the US.
The US under the Clinton and Bush admins have broken International Law every single time that we process someone through "extraordinary rendition".
The invasion of another country - except under certain circumstances - is also against International Law.
