ianlou, what is the price of freedom and security? Would allowing Iraq to fall to extremists funded by Iran and Al Qead make the world a safer, better place? It seems of the utmost importance to you that America abandon Iraq, please explain to me how saving that money through retreat will make America safer and the middle east more stable. It''s a good thing we didn''t put a dollar limit on previous wars or the Amrtican dollar may not be the one used in America at this time in history.

Sarge is very upset with the way this nation is being run and he should be, we all should be. His point and it''s a very valid one, is that NO ONE in the Republican Party is willing to address the situation. They like you would rather call Democrats names and everyone knows they had nothing to do with the problems we face. It''s time you ONE PARTY RULE folks understood that YOU are not all of us and that people in this nation have views that are different from yours. That does not make us evil or wrong, it just means we are different. Now unless you are a complete fool you must see the situation we are in and it is NOT improving. Relative calm in Iraq after 6 years IS not winning.. it''s treading water. Now Republican''s had complete control of our Government. They were handed a Government with a Balanced Budget and a Surplus. It''s time to give the other guys a chance. He told you the truth about our greatest leaders being liberal they were and yes the liberals of today are different than they were, they are supposed to be. I hardly think anyone in their right mind would take the conservative positions back then so of course todays conservatives agree with the RADICALS of yesteryear. You are afraid of change and that''s a scary thing indeed... change is going to happen but fear is our enemy.

crusherking,,,, You have to take a real long hard look at things with your GOP --

- Their idea of republican controlled courts isn''t for the benifit for the faith based, no matter how hard they pound their desks infront of a camera

It''s for the benifit of a radical take over of our democracy & for the corporations -

- This administration is a good example on how they brought the faith based into the White House then put the shaft to all of them.

It''s nice that some, maybe most Iraqis are thankful for their freedom from Sadam and in most cases greatful for the newfound security.

Now the big question is....
Is this worth $1,000,000,000,000 and, so far, 4000 American lives?

Folks we as a nation HAVE to act here. We must elect leaders OTHER than the ones we presently have. ANY fool can see we are losing this thing and ANY fool can see the answer to catching and bringing to justice those who attacked us does NOT lie in Iraq. We face economic troubles beyond our wildest nightmares if we continue to spend money the way this Incompetent President and his party have spent it. We have our bridges falling down, Social Security in a mess, our medical system in crisis, the housing market in shambles, the dollar is nearly worthless and that''''s just a start. I know some hate to admit they made a mistake but I blame the coward in the White House. HE should have done what so many of our great leaders have done in our past when he found NO weapons there. He should have stood up like a MAN, faced the people and said I MADE A MISTAKE. Because he''s a coward we are all suffering.

crusherking,,,, I think if you check the facts you would see how wrong you are ----

---- Yes, RU-486 came under the Clinton administration - But, it was limited to clinics & medical supervision

----- This administration put it over the counter for sale to anyone who could reach the counter. ---

McVet, the fact that you admit to injury explains alot, obviously there were parts of your brain the shrapnel could not be retrieved from. If you would like I could give you the e-mail address of my brother he is Marine Corp EOD and forced recon. He believes in this mission, it''s hard to imagine two Marines so different but then again you have proven yourself to be one of a kind assshole.

McVet, I''d almost be offended if you weren''t such an idiot. First off, you so dead wrong. For one thing, I am not even a true Republican. I have voted just as often for Libertarians. Also, your claim that Liberals founded our country? Where did you gleen that lie from. The Democratic party today is all about putting everyone under the care of the gov''t. Healthcare, welfare, social security etc. While those programs have some merit in limited doses, all the democratic leaders are doing today is trying to FORCE that upon each of us. Just take what Hilary Clinton said herself about her healthcare plan. If you don''t voluntarily sign up for it you''ll have your wages garnished whether you feel like you can afford it or not. You call that what America is about? Our founding fathers would roll over in their collective graves at the thought of this. SO McVet, take you lousy McOpinion and put it in your dark brown spider. Remember, Hitler was a socialist at heart. Sieg Heil OBAMA/Clinton. TRAITOR!

McVet, I personally know 6 soldiers soldiers that spent 18 months in Iraq and they all say the same thing. The Iraqis are thankful for their freedom from Sadam and in most cases greatful for the newfound security. So go crawl back in your hole you hateful troll.
