In summary, Christian nut-jobs: feel free to kill all the Christians you like, but it''''s your duty to leave the rest of us alone!

I never thought of that!

I generally agree.

The ultimate responsibility lies with the officers. They have provided rules of engagement which are not consistent with the intent of the Geneva conventions and have shown leniency to excesses besides.

Sometimes the only thing that stops a frightened soldier from killing a person or persons is fear of punishment from his own command (or maybe the people in the neighborhood). Part of that is missing when the rules of engagement are loose and loosly enforced besides.

The military was bad before but has gone too far this past seven years with its'' unleashed, dog-eat-dog ethic. Thank God, I served the U.S. during the Vietnam era and did my stint. It (the military) is nothing short of a sadistic monster now that needs to be collared.

Any soldier who has been in "Harm''s Way" will tell you that war isn''t fun nor pretty. It''s not the patriotic rally round the flag and march off to the front singing "God Bless America" that the lazy armchair generals and neocon Fascist Nazis want you to think it is.

It''s easy to see why so many soldiers "snap" when they see the horror of war, when they see their "brough" lying on the ground in pieces, and the only ones they can trust are the soldiers still alive around them. If they are lucky enough to come home, the top brass, who don''t even know what an M-16 looks like, can''t understand why military suicides are up.

And the Great Commander in Chief, sitting comfortably at home in the White House, wants the troops to stay on their tours longer, supplies them with substandard equipment, and demands to continue the war by blackmailing Congress into "SUPPORT THE TROOPS"! And he is supported by every neocon Fascist Nazi Republican out there including the "almost" GOP nominee for his job!

The Great Emperor Bush II is turning the troops into a psychotic group of zombies, then returning them to their families to deal with!

WHAT A GUY!!!!

SIG HEIL, BUSH!!!
sig heil, McCain???

You really need to space out your deprecating adjectives so that only one or two are applied to any one instance of the word "islam".

You are not really making much sense.

Better yet you could stop your spamming ways and try to do some good in the world.

There is certainly reason to wonder about Matthew''s accuracy or to wish that Christ spoke more clearly about some of the matters Matthew describes.

Matthew 10:34 is certainly a passage that killers often find validating.

I reject that interpretation myself. So do many others.

NCO can not give orders, but rather directives.

Posted by darkmeat4 at 12:20 PM : Feb 22, 2008

Excuuuusssee me?

From the UCMJ:

891. ART. 91. INSUBORDINATE CONDUCT TOWARD WARRANT OFFICER, NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER, OR PETTY OFFICER

Any warrant officer or enlisted member who--

(1) strikes or assaults a warrant officer, noncommissioned officer, or petty officer, while that officer is in the execution of his office;

(2) willfully disobeys the lawful order of a warrant officer, noncommissioned officer, or petty officer; or

(3) treats with contempt or is disrespectful in language or deportment toward a warrant officer, noncommissioned officer, or petty officer while that officer is in the execution of his office; shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

Observe paragraph 2 - an NCO is a noncommissioned officer.

(AP) Military prosecutors say unaired footage of a CBS interview given by a Marine squad leader contains admissions of crimes in an attack that killed 24 Iraqi civilians.

Psychotic christians practised Bible which commands them;

Jesus Himself said, "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law---a man''s enemies will be the members of his own household%u2019" (Matthew 10:34-36). "From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it" (Matthew 11:12).

"While people are saying, "Peace and safety, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape" (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

How many more million innocent GOD-NEGLECTED need to get killed , and how many GOD-CHOSEN need to occpy the land between Euphrate in Iraq and Nile in Egypt for the 2nd coming of Christ?

Lindsay Lohan with her nude pictures is a lot better then Holy Butcher "CONDI RICE" who compared death of innocent civilians in Lebanon to "BIRTH PANG" (She was expecting Jesus coming out of the rubbles of Lebanon just like a new born child comes out of mother''s womb, after a period of BIRTH PANG).

It''s better to see a NAKED BODY then to see a DEAD BODY.

Following up: the dropping of the charges of murder was based, in part, on the militarys erronious argument that their rules of engagement (tantemmount to the Crusader rules "Kill them all, let God choose his own.") are legal.

That will have to be sorted out in the war crimes trials (ala Nuremberg) if they ever occur.

In its motion, CBS says the subpoena would be "unreasonable and oppressive," and turn a news organization into an investigative arm of the government.

They should just ignore it like Bush and his cronies ignore the endless stream of subpoenas coming their way.

It seems peculiar that this information is being sought only after the scope of the charges has been reduced considerably. That is the consideration that makes this questionable.

Otherwise it would be wrong for a news organization to withhold a confession to a crime. The argument that another confession can be obtained is not based on fact but on speculation - which in this case seems to be unfounded speculation.

Don''t forget the fact that it is because of lies by the C n C that our soldiers are even there, so let the trials start where the buck stops.

While I do agree with CBS I also have to state that they should have aired this section so that said it is too late to claim something that they should have done to begin with.

Too bad true journalism is no more that was the days when news stations reported the news instead of trying to get ratings and picking a side.

CBS what happened to you did you jump on the GOP bandwagon and try to make news what you wanted it.

The truth is the ultimate defense, don''t let the GOP or any group tell you how to run your station remember Murrow.

The military today consists of a lot of Field Grade Officers & Generals who are scared of not being promoted & political correctness that doesn''t reconize what fear, combat, and the fog of war causes. Anyone who joins today is crazy because the top brass will not protect you and you could end up the target of one of the investigations
