Translation: I don''t know what the first "false statement is. I have no interest in what it is. You would probably be able to prove I''m wrong. I want to continue to lie about this and not be forced to recognize I''m wrong.
So you feel you should be able to make ''false statements'' which I''m telling you are really lies. Without buttressing your argument !!
(go ahead re-read the article - I''m TELLING you the word "lie" never appeared in it - YOU decided to morph ''false statements to "lies".) - Reply to this comment

You have not demonstrated any knowledge of the thought processes of a rational person, and nobody cares about what you "believe" as I have already explained to you.- Reply to this comment

So, I''ll ignore the overstatment, "at best" and tell you how I believe the rational person would approach the situation.
Yup - false statements - not much doubt about it now. after the fact we know better.
SO, what is a rational course of action given the situation are are now in ? Complain - nope. Talk in a way that polarizes the two main parties so nothing will happen ? Nope.
How about working together to figure out what will work best for the Iraqis people and proceed on that course ?
I happen to think leaving a vacuum is NOT in their best interest. - Reply to this comment

Sounds pretty good. Sure beats a Corporate/AIPAC-owned fascistic plutocracy, hands down.
Re: "I believe most folks wouldn''t touch hugo with the special 11 foot poles they provide for folks that won''t use a 10 foot pole."
I don''t know why anyone would want to touch him with a pole, but your obsession with President Chavez is not relevant to this article.
Virtually everything that you have "believed" up to now has been shown conclusively to be false, so who cares what you "believe"?- Reply to this comment

Pretty strong statement you just made there. Why don''t you tell me what statement #1 was, since you are so sure you can call them all lies, because they "were known not to be false when they were made".
And then we''ll examine that 1st statement to see if your allegation is correct. - Reply to this comment
- Thanks for the response feelfree.
I wasn''t aware, truthfully, that there was a Socialist Party, but I see there is.
I was speaking of the socialistic traits. As wiki puts it: Socialism refers to a broad array of ideologies and political movements with the goal of a socio-economic system in which property and the distribution of wealth are subject to control by the community.
Hugo has nothing to do with President Bush as far as this article is concerned. I just like to make sure folks know the background of whom they are aligning themselves.
I believe most folks wouldn''t touch hugo with the special 11 foot poles they provide for folks that won''t use a 10 foot pole.
That you think President Bush is a murderer is ridiculous at all levels. True, it is YOUR opinion, and you are entitled. But from my perspective, it is a ridiculous statement, you are wrong, know it, and don''t care.
If McVet wants to think that makes me a Nazi - he''s entitled too. (but, he''s a dumbsh|t to believe it.) - Reply to this comment

Re: "SO at what point did you ASSUME the 935 ''''false statements (note in this case ''''false'''' is being used as oppossed to ''''TRUE STATEMENTS'''') were lies ?"
These statements were known to be false when they were made, which makes them lies. They were used in a concerted effort to justify an, illegal, catastrophic, and disgraceful war of aggression, which also makes this an apparent criminal conspiracy.
If you chose to believe that this concerted campaign of lies was just a case of incompetence, that is your choice. I don''t believe it.
Even in that case, however, this would be a case of criminal negligence, at best.- Reply to this comment
- This war can never be "won." What would we win? The only ones that are winning are the sub-contractors, including the mercinaries. Call it what you will, a foreign soldier for hire is a mercenary. The biggest pain, though, is the inability to learn from our own history. This has turned into Vietnam all over, but this time they made sure to have their friends buy up the media so they can keep us in the dark. This is a war for corporate capitalist-pig profit, just like Vietnam. All those dreams and ambitions of the young people who''ve died, gone like dust in the wind. Sent to their deaths by a group of cowardly draft-dodging pigs! Bush and Cheney, you twist my guts!

re: "So are you, or aren''t you a socialist ?"
I am not affiliated with any political Party. I will probably vote for Ron Paul in the primaries, and he is a Republican.
Re: "Do you, or don''t you support hugo chavez ?"
Sure. He is a democratically elected leader, and seems to be doing a good job of representing his overwhelming majority constituency.
But again, you seem to be obsessed with this man.
What does President Hugo Chavez have to do with the illegitimate Bush regime murdering more Iraqi civilians?- Reply to this comment

What''s the matter feelfree - when the chips are down, you can''t speak for yourself ?

fellfree - liar of the month award. NOw she is so frustrated in trying to show that what she says is true, she turns to another pathetic liar to bolster her pathetic image.
Do you discount that you like hugo chavez ? Are you a socialist ? - Reply to this comment

And, I''m far from poor.
SO at what point did you ASSUME the 935 ''false statements (note in this case ''false'' is being used as oppossed to ''TRUE STATEMENTS'') were lies ?

Feelfree has READILY admitted to liking hugo Chavez.
If that''s not a socialist WHAT IS??????????
HAVE I SAID ANYTHING TO MAKE IT CLEAR I''M TRULY A NAZI?

"Murder is premeditated."
Concocting a campaign of 935+ concerted lies, in order to stampede a country into an illegal war of aggression, looks like clear pre-meditation.
Why do you hide behind the failures and complicity of our Congress as an excuse for this self-defeating, illegal, and undeclared war of aggression?
Does their failure somehow legitimize this criminal effort in your mind?- Reply to this comment
- MCVet - keep laughing your azz off buddy.
Greenspan said it was vital to the world''s economy to be able to keep oil flowing. In that respect, yes, it is a war to be able to have oil - but if you think it is a nationalistic war to annex land which has oil - why wouldn''t we still be in Kuwait.
If you don''t think it is a good idea to keep oil flowing, let me ask you how much you have used today ?
And, what have you done to make us less dependent on foreign oil ? Have you ever written a congressman ?
Go seig heil yourself will you. - Reply to this comment
