The White House and the corporate mob owns Iraq If the Bushwacker can get the gasoline price down, it may contain the economy debacle long enough for Bush to make a clean get-away.

I believe that is why he is focusing on the rebel fractions.

How about Iraq pays us half that $15 Billion windfall to our country for all that we''ve done for them. $7 Bill sounds like a good initial payment for all the death and dismemberment out troops have suffered.

I''m sure that higher oil prices will benefit Iraqi citizens....but only AFTER they benefit American oil companies.

My pleasure:

"You can''t possibly figure out the history of the Bush presidency -- until I''m dead." George W. Bush

Ya know why he said that, don''t you? Nobody is supposed to be able to unseal all of the records relating to what he has done to us and the world until after he''s dead.

Silly boy...he thinks no succeeding President will ever use one of his tactics - the "Executive Order" - to shuck those seals off like huskin'' corn.

Yeah, right. And Iraqi oil is going to pay for our invasion. And we''ll be welcomed as liberators. And the war in Iraq wasn''t about oil at all.

Tell me another fairy tale.

We''ve already seen how US mis-feasance and mal-feasance squandered Iraqi''s oil earnings...and, of course, the dung-eating dogs in Congress did no more to protect the Iraqis than they do to protect Americans from the criminal gang of usurpers nominally led by Bush...the dogs who will say nothing about the fraudulent elections...the dogs who do nothing about the CIA drug dealing and renditions... THREE CIA CONNECTED PLANES, TWO FULL OF DRUGS AND ONE RECENTLY UNLOADED!

And you wonder why we were going to war in Afghanistan?!! TO RESTORE THE OPIUM TRADE! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

if oil is going to start flowing from Iraq the Iraqi people should decide who they will and will not supply oil to. We all know the first order of business for the Bushies will be to start pumping oil into Israel. Before they do they need to ask the Iraqi people if they are ok with that. If the majority decide they are not Israel should not get any of the oil.

All that this suddenly "volunteered" positive shidt

about Iraq says is that the EXTRA 30,000 troops, the

EXTRA lives lost and the EXTRA money spent didn''t

result in his planned-for grand moment of vindication

during the State of the Union Address.

US and other Western oil interests control the oil in and from Iraq.

They make the most money.

The Iraqi "government" takes whatever is left over.

I doubt that there will be any benefit to the Iraqi people.

The US, UK, and other interests should be pleased.

As if this was a change.

Wow, does this mean that Iraq can pay the American people back the 500 billion they owe us?

Since our troops and tax dollars have been running the country for the last 5 years I think we are owed some cheap crude. THe Iraqi''s need to put a policy in effect that sends crude to the U.S. at discounted prices but makes all other nations pay market price. This would help our economy and they owe us.

McVet, look skippy, you shouldn''t point fingers at people for lacking facts, all you do is spew the same tired Nazi rhetoric, calling fellow Americans Klansmen and boot lickers. Let''s here some FACTS from you! Here''s a couple that you purposely to ignore, 67,000 Iraqis have returned to Baghdad since September, the attacks in Iraq and Baghhdad have fallen by over 80%, roadside bombs by 70%, the militants are running out of places to hide. This article states the PEOPLE OF IRAQ will get this oil revenue windfall, that would not have happened if Sadam was still in power or the miltants had one. I know your dissapointed the U.S. is winning, and force was the key, but history shows good usually conquers evil. How does it feel to be on the enemies side, you have been the perfect anti-American spokesperson, you kind of remind me of "Bagdad Bob" he also denied reality and spewed the crapp on a daily basis right up to his capture.

That''s nice...an oil windfall for Iraq...more money for the US contractors to suck out of Iraq, aka...

"The massive effort has had mixed success. Most services still are lagging, some projects very poorly done and uncounted money lost to waste, fraud and abuse, officials have said."

They don''t even have electricity and water. Guess who''s benefiting from their money?
