Libs have less misery to celebrate in 2008? LOL

This sounds like the boastful chef who made the wonderful cake using dairy fresh milk, pure vanilla, cane sugar, organic fresh eggs, etc. etc.
When time to taste and eat, it smelled like pig dung.

The Iraq half-planned invasion and occupation by the broken coalition sounds similar.
The Chef, Bush, got his carriers, missiles at the ready, the Army of One, the mercenaries, and hundreds of billions of dollars, and this mental midget calculated he would win.
The result, he is unable to even capture and maintain even a hick village with his world''s only superpower military that knows only one language.
His only alternative is to resurrect his Mission Accomplished banner, put on his flight suit, puff out his chest and say he won.
People like you will believe it.

"U.S. officials on Wednesday forecast less violence in Iraq in 2008..."

Yes, the same "officials" that have been completely wrong about previous "predictions".

Golly--what a headline--what "news"!!!

Why not just print headlines like:

"Hitler found to be cool dude."

I will give you a hint about the Military Commission Act of 2006 to help you: it is the biggest abrogation of our civil rights since the Alien and Sedition Act of 1798.

We"ll have a presidential victory to celebrate in 2008.

And a Democratic Era to enjoy from 2009 to 2016 (at least)

LOL

Have any of you read the Military Commissions Act of 2006? Read all 315 pages of it word for word, and tell me who really won? And if you understand it and its significance, this conversation becomes moot.

Here"s a trip down memory lane...

"not one southern state will vote for hillary.
the south prefers upstanding, christian , faith professing republicans
and top notch leadership like george bush, jr.
the south would like to find another prez like george bush. jr.
the southern states are considering drafting rush limbaugh to be the republican candidate.
he has all the qualifications...
fat, bigoted, republican, christian, drug user, demogogue [sic].
oh well, that"s the south for you, folks!"

I love this war. If it weren''t for this war, my stock in Halliburton, Exxon, and Blackwater would be worthless. Thank you, Commander Guy, for the bestest Christmas present ever!
