Libs have less misery to celebrate in 2008? LOL

This sounds like the boastful chef who made the wonderful cake using dairy fresh milk, pure vanilla, cane sugar, organic fresh eggs, etc. etc.
When time to taste and eat, it smelled like pig dung.

The Iraq half-planned invasion and occupation by the broken coalition sounds similar.
The Chef, Bush, got his carriers, missiles at the ready, the Army of One, the mercenaries, and hundreds of billions of dollars, and this mental midget calculated he would win.
The result, he is unable to even capture and maintain even a hick village with his world''s only superpower military that knows only one language.
His only alternative is to resurrect his Mission Accomplished banner, put on his flight suit, puff out his chest and say he won.
People like you will believe it.

"U.S. officials on Wednesday forecast less violence in Iraq in 2008..."

Yes, the same "officials" that have been completely wrong about previous "predictions".

Golly--what a headline--what "news"!!!

Why not just print headlines like:

"Hitler found to be cool dude."

I will give you a hint about the Military Commission Act of 2006 to help you: it is the biggest abrogation of our civil rights since the Alien and Sedition Act of 1798.

We"ll have a presidential victory to celebrate in 2008.

And a Democratic Era to enjoy from 2009 to 2016 (at least)

LOL

Have any of you read the Military Commissions Act of 2006? Read all 315 pages of it word for word, and tell me who really won? And if you understand it and its significance, this conversation becomes moot.

Here"s a trip down memory lane...

"not one southern state will vote for hillary.
the south prefers upstanding, christian , faith professing republicans
and top notch leadership like george bush, jr.
the south would like to find another prez like george bush. jr.
the southern states are considering drafting rush limbaugh to be the republican candidate.
he has all the qualifications...
fat, bigoted, republican, christian, drug user, demogogue [sic].
oh well, that"s the south for you, folks!"

I love this war. If it weren''t for this war, my stock in Halliburton, Exxon, and Blackwater would be worthless. Thank you, Commander Guy, for the bestest Christmas present ever!

Eventually, I guess, killers run out of people to kill.

Does that make it all better then?

Evidently, you don''t understand what''s happening over there. We have armed a tremendous Sunni army over there. The very tentative government put in place by the Bush administration is Shiate.

There is only a very very fine thin line holding off violence over there. There is NO WAY to guarantee that violence will not erupt at any minute between the sects there. Petraeus and every walking soldier in Iraq knows this! Yet you Bushies want to declare this a win!?

As well we have MURDERED or caused the MURDER of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi''s. They will hate us for many decades for this, so the chance for a cooperative peace in this region is just about ZIP.

Plus, there is every possibility that all those we have armed could turn around and point those guns at the ones that handed them to them.

So exactly WHO the hell is living in a farce, except those who claim this mess as a SUCCESS!!!!????

usakousagi,

There was a story on the local news here in Raleigh last week of soldiers from Twxas being shipped over before Christmas and Southwest Airlines having to fly them back because their deployment doesn''t begin til January.

This raises the obvious questions, why were they taken from their families before the Holidays before their deployments and why was Southwest flying them back and not the Pentagon?

Naturally, no explanation was given.

ask yourself this..who is still siding with the liberal masses on this farce??pretty much everybody had abandoned your sinking bullsh*t laden liberal ship.

Posted by libsluvsuvs at 09:56 PM,

A sinking liberal ship? The trend over the last seven years is very clear. The GOP spin machine fooled me once and its not going to happen again!

I could site the failures of this administration but my new computers hard drive does not have sufficeint memory to hold the file.

Any employee knows they are responsible for providing deliberables to meet real timelines and to back up every promise with the appropriate action.

The truth is Bush would have been fired due for lack of performance if his job was in the private sector.

I find it incredible that are people that still blindly support him and attack liberals for opposing the GOP party line, when it fact it is your ship that is sinking.
