Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Dorko Is Top U.S. Officer Hurt Since War Began
- Uhhh... how is this sad? Because I used verifiable facts to refute an argument? Something you have trouble with, apparently. Besides, opinions don''''t refute facts, and I was refuting the SILLY notion that Iran was not a state sponsor of terrorism. You can''''t even get the reference I used correct!
How sad indeed.

You want to talk about FACTS Swastika Breath? Let''s talk FACTS. Iraq had NO WMD''s it was a LIE. Iraq had NO connection to Al Qaeda and Bin Laden. Iraq and Iran have been in a state of war for longer than most of us have been alive, you do remember the pics of your hero Rummy and Saddam don''t you? WE destablized the situation and WE gave the Shiite in Iraq the ability to control the country. To think, as Sir Lies-A-Lot was WARNED before he went on this "Mission", that the Shiite in Iran will not aid the Shiite in Iraq is plain STUPID, which is what YOU and your fuhrer are... just PLAIN STUPID!! Sieg Heil Bush!! - Reply to this comment

- Ah, the old "I saw it in the newspaper so it must be true. If in fact, you found your little cut and paste job on the state department website, perhaps you should consider the veracity of your source...after all they''''re the folks who conned us into believing Iraq had a WMD program and was out to make nukes.

Ok, then.. what IS a legitimate source that would meet your approval? I don''t have time to go through the 1,710,000 hits when you google "iran state sponsored terrorism". I have gone through enough of them that do not refute the claim and provide plenty of evidence. - Reply to this comment

Re: "Funny how you can claim other''s posts as being "propaganda" when you continue to post unsupported ignorance like this..."
The hoax nature of "al-Qaeda-in-Iraq" is just my opinion. You are presenting your Iranian "links" as fact, and they are far from it.
I do not have the time nor the interest to debate someone that must resort to plagiarism in order to advance their pathetic point.
Go find someone else to harass with your plagairized blather.- Reply to this comment
- Perhaps if we just let those "unwashed masses" decide their own fate in Iraq, they won''''t choose as badly as we.

That would be wonderful, if they didn''t have so much oil there. But those riches can buy stuff. And also, they become the target of civil unrest similar to Nigeria, Peru, Sudan, Liberia, and many others. There really is no easy answer, but I would compare it with our country''s vouchers, that''s all over the map when it comes to wanting it or not. - Reply to this comment

LOOK WHO BROKE THE CONSTITUTION
GOP targeting Clinton on phone-call snooping
Republicans plan to seize on an allegation from the 1992 presidential campaign to tarnish Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) on the red-hot issue of government surveillance.
Government surveillance will be at the forefront of the political debate this fall as congressional Democrats and President Bush square off over legislation allowing electronic spying on U.S. soil without a warrant.
Republicans are focusing on an allegation in a recent book by two Pulitzer Prize-winning reporters, which suggests Clinton listened to a secretly recorded conversation between political opponents.

S-e-x and the Presidency
No one doubts Mrs. Clinton''s ability to make war. No close or longtime observer has ever been quoted as saying that she may be too soft for the job. Instead one worries about what has always seemed her characterological bellicosity. She invented the War Room, listened in on the wiretaps, brought into the White House the man who got the private FBI files of the Clintons'' perceived enemies.

- Notblue said, "While any loss of American life is unacceptable the war in Iraq has seen the fewest casualties in any war fought in the history of the United States."
A-- Selling a war means sellling its objectives, not its cost. Your argument is like a sleazy used-car salesman selling a clunker to an unsuspecting rube because, as the used-car salesman said, "My friend, this car has the lowest cost of any car on this lot! Look around!"
Notblue said, "If you truly beleive this war is strictly about oil and not about the radicals trying to establish a Caliphate in the middle east and greater world, then you do not understand or recognize the enemy."

A-- Ask Alan Greenspan, who also believes Iraq is about oil. You also did not address the points about the $1 billion embassy and ten superbases, at all. Nor did you mention DOD has just spent billions on a new vehicle to counter IEDs, but which will not be available for several years. Each of the foregoing investments means there is no Bush commitment to bring the troops home.
Have you noticed how the right wing cover story for Iraq went from (1) Iraq continues the war which began at 911 to (2) WMDs! WMDs! to (3) "The world is better off without Saddam" to (4) "We are bringing democracy to Iraq." and "We''ll stand down as the Iraqis stand up" to (5) "We are fighting the long battle against terror" (code for radical Islam). The longest morphed lie, ever.
Caliphate or no, how can such a long-term plan be a threat so long as bin Laden is "holed up in a cave"? Be since you apparently regard his cave as a strategic asset to the Caliphate, please explain why Bush hasn''t located bin Laden.

Notblue said, "The NSA wiretaps were an invaluable intelligence toll until the leftwing press blew the whistle, As a law abiding American citizen I am not in the least bit worried."
A-- Were you sleeping during your class on American government? How can you be a law-abiding citizen and support Bush and Cheney, the biggest political criminals this country has seen since Nixon? Bush has admittted his wrongdoing publicly, and even promised to follow the law more closely. But did not deny he had broken the law for years!
As for its purported intelligence value, this is yet another of your attempted defenses which misses the point. Besides, neither of us has any proof NSA data represents anything at all. Remember, Bush and Cheney have classified everything "Secret".
Law abiding citizen? And you support Bush and Cheney in their criminal fraud on the American people, violating US law to do so? Clearly, you are a "good German", Notblue. You do not ask questions of the people who mislead you. And like the good Germans, you will find yourself duped by your own proto-fascist prejudice and passion.- Reply to this comment
- I suspect that this was an al-cIA''''da effort, aimed at building Iraqi support for the "fight" against the "terra" hoax known as "al-Qaeda-in-Iraq".
Most Iraqis seem to realize that this imaginary group is a ruse.
