Comments on: Troops: Blackwater Shooting "Criminal"
First U.S. Troops On Scene Found No Evidence Iraqis Fired On Guards, Report Says
- terrorislam1, NO ONE with any intelligence is going to sign your stu-pid "appeal for redress", so QUIT POSTING IT! Your appeal is akin to a southern US slave of the 1800''s begging his "owner" with, "Pleeze, massah, beat me some mo''!" (If any offense is to be taken at this remark, please direct it towards terrorislam1. I am just characterizing HIS stu-pid appeal.)
The ONLY way to "Fully Support" the troops in Iraq is to BRING THEM HOME, OUT OF HARM''S WAY. Bush has ALREADY extended their tours of duty beyond endurance. You are one sick, evil b-st@rd to want to heap on more punishment. Maybe you''re a ***? That can''t be it, because masochists actually want to continue living, they just like to be dominated and controlled. So, you''re close to being a ***, but no cigar for you, buddy! - Reply to this comment
- No troop deaths or burning cars to publish, so let''''s beat the Blackwater drum to death. Way to go, LAMEstream media!

- These must be the ''phoney'' troops Rush Limbaugh identified. If they''re not marching lock step with the neocons and George W. Bush, then they must be ''phoney'' troops risking their ''phoney'' lives for our ''phoney'' freedom.

- Appeal for Redress
Sign this Appeal.
This site is an Appeal For Redress in support of our mission in Iraq.
An Appeal For Redress is an authorized means for active duty military to submit a grievance to Congress. It can be signed by Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard military personnel.
It is authorized by DoD Directive 1325.6 and DoD Directive 7050.6.
The wording of the Appeal for Redress is:
As an American currently serving my nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to fully support our mission in Iraq and halt any calls for retreat. I also respectfully urge my political leaders to actively oppose media efforts which embolden my enemy while demoralizing American support at home. The War in Iraq is a necessary and just effort to bring freedom to the Middle East and protect America from further attack.
If you are active duty, reservist or national guard, please Sign this Appeal.
Most service members fully support the war in Iraq and feel calls to retreat by Congress and attacks by our media on our conduct and mission act to motivate our enemy while demoralizing our support at home, directly increasing the threat we face and resulting in greater American casualties. This Appeal for Redress provides a way in which individual service members can appeal to Congress to fully support us and actively oppose media attacks on our mission and our morale.
This Appeal will be delivered to members of Congress.

- terrorislam1 said, "... soldiers arrived at the scene 20 to 25 minutes after the shootings ended...hahaha ... some eye witness lol----

Learn to read, terrorist. From the story-- "The soldiers'' conclusions - based upon their own observations, eyewitness interviews and discussions with Iraq police - are similar to those reached by the Iraqi government and contradict Blackwater''s contention that its guards acted in self-defense after being shot at by the Iraqis."
Eyewitnesses, almost by definition, are always interviewed AFTER the fact. Any interview only 20 minutes after the shooting stopped is very prompt.
The statement of these courageous US soldiers will go a long way toward convincing the world US soldiers can recognize and tell the truth-- regardless of what Bush and Cheney want them to say for the cameras.
The 1,000 active duty enlisted-- many from the Iraq theater-- who signed the Iraq protest document also have what it takes and showed their patriotism. Some of these men since have paid with their lives, following orders of the corrupt man who sometimes likes to call himself The Decider. - Reply to this comment

- Some US intelligence officers have estimated that there may be 800 to 1000 or so insurgents in or closely affiliated with al Qaeda in Iraq.
We must be killing them and then moving them and proping them up with sticks and killing then again and again and again.
Hereee they go again with the al Qaeda thing! - Reply to this comment
