Report: Top General Pushing To Redeploy Marines To Afghanistan, Leaving Iraq To Army
- AJMArine:
I respect all our troops for their service to our nation. They can''t help it if their Commander in Chief (a former spoiled party-boy draft-dodger chick-hawk)is using them as cannon fodder in their NeoCOn needless War for regional dominance and control of Iraqi Oil.
All of our troops are to be thanked and admired. Read about some who are doing their patriotic duty as American citizens, trying to hold our War Criminal leaders accountable to the people and bring them to justice, try:

- bm6005. I was there in 75. Still was a missle base. I got to haul one of those bad boys once. took it to the Rhine and they barged it a ways down the river, then I took it back where I got it. Couldn''t talk about that for 7 years when I got out.

- Then he pointed and said "those two are yours". Stuutgart and a little burg called Heilbron. Try taking a 30ft trailer down those same tiny streets.

Yo drummer 94. I was stationed in Neckarsulm in''67, that''s a little suburb of Heilbron. When I was there it was a Pershing missle outfit, 3rd Btn 84th Artillery, Been back twice since and I don''t recognize the area or base. They tore down half of the base and use what''s left to house refugee''s. Really pisses off the locals too. - Reply to this comment

Think Jimmy Massey, the unhinged Marine who falsely accused his unit of engaging in mass genocide against Iraqis.
Think Jesse MacBeth and Micah Wright, anti-war Army Rangers who weren%u2019t Army Rangers.
Think Josh Lansdale, the anti-war Army medic who attacked former GOP Sen. Jim Talent by spinning a bogus health care tale swallowed whole by Dem Sen. Claire McCaskill, Gen. Wesley Clark and the far Left VoteVets.org crew.
Think Amorita Randall, the NYTimes-championed former naval construction worker who told the Times magazine that she served in Iraq, was in a Humvee that blew up, and was raped twice while serving in the Navy%u2013but, in fact, had never served in Iraq.

- From the AP wire service.... "U.S. troops backed by attack aircraft killed 19 suspected insurgents and 15 civilians, including nine children, in an operation Thursday targeting al-Qaida in Iraq leaders northwest of Baghdad, the military said."
NINE Innocent Children snuffed out by US TERROR Operation.
''Shock and Awe'', which continues to this day, IS Terror. It is Terror with a $500 Billion dollar budget.
Most Germans didn''t see Hitler as evil. They believed his lies. They were even inspired by him. Sound familiar? If the Iraqis hadn''t fought back to rid their land of foreign occupiers, Bush would have invaded Iran by now on his way to build the 4th Reich. - Reply to this comment

- The images I get from these posts of our young bois in uniform in foreign countries, Germany mentioned here. It sure sounds like the sort of arrogant shi*t that brings on alot of love.

- Now if we can just get the Army to get out of Iraq, achieve a 2 state Israeli/Palestinian peace settlement with 1967 borders, stop stealing the Middle East Oil, stop supporting brutal dictators like Saddam and the Shah of Iran, stop lying about WMDs in order to invade nations that are of no real threat...
Its called PEACE.
Which doesn''t cost $700 BILLION per year (Iraq plus feeding the military-industrial-congressional complex), which doesn''t destroy cities, which doesn''t leave hundreds of thousands DEAD, which doesn''t maim people for life, which doesn''t leave families grieving for their lost loved ones, which doesn''t cause millions of refugees....
Your choice. Start by sending Cheney and Bush to JAIL for LIFE. - Reply to this comment
- ===Why wouldn''''t anyone stick up for Rush? How people can interpret the ''''phony soldiers'''' as it has been portrayed boggles me.===
Why does it boggle you? Rush insulted an American soldier because he didn''t like his political view. There''s only one way to intepret calling a real soldier a "phony" soldier - unless you think "phony" is a compliment. - Reply to this comment
- And throwing a bone to CBS censors, what is your opinion about the Marine request to redeploy from Iraq to Aghanistan?

Thanks for the welcome...
If they believe that they can be more effective in that front, then I say OK. What ever works. The Marines are our Warriors in a way and we should let them do what they do. - Reply to this comment
- Didya wonder why Bob Gates only "heard" the marines wanted a change of scenery?

- So everyone knows where you stand (so we can beat you up), how do you feel about the political parties and our involvement in Iraq?
Get you started off with something easy.

Thank you tucker...
I can''t summerize my feelings on the whole issue in 1500 caractors or less, but I can say this.
I am no longer impressed with our political leaders ability to blame the other party for their failures. In Iraq and domestically. There is more partisan grandstanding and BS than I''ve ever seen before.
They are doing nothing but prolonging the invasion.
So the short answer and what I will be labeled as will be most likely a no good "liberal" - Reply to this comment
- That''s what we did on the autobahn. Pull out the throttle, a little steppenwolf on a portable casette player, mirrored shades. The ones that weren''t drivin like, well, Germans got the he11 outta the way.

- Operated the 2 1/2 while in the states. Got my mos changed on the way to Europe. First time I went to the motor pool when I got permanent party, it was all trac/trlrs. Asked my motor sgt. where all the cargos were. He said they had a couple but they were broke. Then he pointed and said "those two are yours". Stuutgart and a little burg called Heilbron. Try taking a 30ft trailer down those same tiny streets.

Long time listener, First time caller...
I like the Marines as well. I don''t post as often as I would like, but I have been starting to engage more often. I will look forward to your posts, because you make a lot of sense. Even when they gang up on you.
