They''re just little george cowboys. Given their own version of the events, those 3 attempts to get the car to stop must have been almost simultaneous, if they still managed to stop the rapidly approaching vehicle.

The bushit doctrine states, that if,

1. you don''t like someone, and

2. you can manage to convince anyone that they may be a threat, and

3. you can act before evidence that they are not a threat can surface,

then, it is your right and duty to kill them. Shoot then interrogate. The logical, albeit twisted conclusion results in genocide. It''s a tool of tyrants throughout history, now including our own would-be king george.

It''s not a surprise that these hired thugs lack restraint? They, like the bushit believe that laws are only guidelines, compliance is optional.

Like the Vichy French, Iraq is sovereign in name, only. The U.S. grants these gangs immunity and the colonial Iraqi government is allowed to complain.

Speaking of the real reason we''re in Iraq...

Did anyone notice that little ditty about the Kurds making their own oil deal with Hunt Oil, aka, Hallliburton, aka, Cheney??? Since they can''t get the deal by pushing and shoving on the SOVERIGN DEMOCRACY they say they have created in Iraq...now they''re going behind it''s back and trying to shove a deal through with the Kurds!!!

All the while spouting that the United States is trying to unite Iraq....

I sincerely agree, this is the utmost hypocrisy I have seen come out of those bustwards in Washington.

I cannot believe Americans are so DUMB, or is it BLIND (wannabe blind) to what our President and his oil buddies are doing??? They have absolutly no conscience using the bodies of our young, the bodoes of Iraqi''s, or the money of this country for YEARS to get it!

Aghast by the paranoid, out of control US Air Force bombing Afghan weddings post 9/11, a Vietnam Vet asked me if I served in Vietnam. To which I immedialtely replied, "of course I did not, and you how even served in Vietnam knows from experience that US aggression there was wrong headed from Day 1! It only served the US Military Industrial Complex! 56,000 US servicemen die in Vietnam for NOTHING!" He could not respond, because he knew the USA venture in Vietnam was wrong!

Does it seem odd to anyone else that in all the attacks on US personnel in Iraq, we don''t hear about suicide bombs much if at all? Maybe these people are learning to appreciate their own lives if they don''t appreciate the lives of others. Maybe that''s a good sign?

"...saying they feared a suicide attack when they opened fire"

Fear is the motivator for everything in BushWorld. They were "justified" in killing innocent people because they were "afraid". We were "justified" in attacking Iraq because we were "afraid". We gave up habeas corpus, the single most significant dividing line between civilization and the Dark Ages, because we are "afraid" of "jihadists" and Bush claims he can make us "safe". We gave up our right to privacy out of that same fear.

"Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration."

When we allow fear to govern all our actions, we become animals. Now, I know that the Repugnant Ones will say "we are animals!", but they speak only for themselves, caught up in the quagmire of fear, such as they are. Humanity begins when we can put aside our fear and use reason to govern our actions.

BushWorld won''t let it''s occupants be human, for free human beings would not choose to be enslaved by greedy conmen.

I pity the souls of the GOP and their minions. They have plotted their own course to Hell. Let''s pray that they don''t manage to drag the rest of us along with them!

What is wrong with this story that everyone is so angry about?

the fact that we keep saying Iraqis are sovereign but don''t even give them the respect and right to decide who can be in their country helping to kill them and stating some groups can be there and kill them with impunity and no repercussions.

The horror is that we have mercenaries on the government payroll and we continue the sham of pretending the Iraq government is a democracy and sovereign.

When does a democracy have to do the bidding of occupiers and not their own people--(especially when the occupiers "gave" them democracy)?

What sovereign country is not allowed to decide who can be in their own lands and cannot punish those who harms their own people?

If they are truly sovereign, then we they say they want us to go or blackwater to go--there should be no back talk and above all else--their word and punishments in their lands should be laws--not our word--we are just guest and helpers remember?

People are furious at the hypocrisy and the continual lies --we have NO right to be there, especially with total immunity to harming them.

So I guess I missed something ... a white car heading towards them, they use at least 3 different forms of action to get the vehicle to stop and, being guards paid to protect an area, had to use deadly force to stop the potential threat. Had they been right and it was a car bomb who is going to say, they deeply regret the deaths ..?!

Because that is NOT the history of Hired Killers AND the citizens of Iraq have a different story. These were UNARMED Women who had NO idea about what was happening. There is ONE overriding issue here though. Why is this happening in a Country we were told would welcome us. Iran is said to be arming CITIZENS of Iraq and Al Qaeda, you remember the guys in Bin Laden''s organization, is out there using attacks just like this one to convince even MORE Young Arabs to get in a car and blow our kids up. Let''s try to consentrate on the INCOMPETENCE of this President AND the LIES we have been told BEFORE this. Our Military is almost broken and we seem to be going backward here.... the Guy who Planned and Carried out the attack against us has rebuilt his entire organization as well.

So the latest news is that the State Dept is considering phasing out Blackwater in response to the demands by the Iraqis. Two questions:

1. When did the Iraqis learn that due to the box and lies Bush has painted us in, all they have to do is expose and/or call our bluffs (like demanding they truly be sovereign and therefore can try anyone who harms their people)

2. When will Maliki get on tv and he and his government demand we leave, including leaving that new embassy? What will Bush say then? he has repeatedly say, we are chums not occupiers--so when the Iraqis say "git yer azzes in the wind" Whatever will we do? Especially if they hit us in the back of the head as we leave, with the wadded up remains of the unsigned oil exploration/exploitation agreement Bush has been trying to get them to sign for 3 years?

LOL.

linfinster,

Always attack someone that could possibly attack you.

I''m glad all of our police don''t use that principle. If a car doesn''t stop, just open fire. By killing these people, they''ve just created 100 more of the enemy to deal with. They''ve indirectly killed more American troops by this action.

Filthy Liberals want more poor children to have health care than we can afford. We need that money to fight the number one threat we face. Al-Qaeda in Iraq and it''s allies, the Shia in Iran (okay, that doesn''t make sense, but just ignore it) and the number one supplier of homicide bombers in Iraq, Saudia Arabia (p.s. just kidding about Saudi Arabia; if Bush holds the hands of it''s leaders, then Saudis are okay I guess). Only by increasing the number of terrorists we face due to the invasion of Iraq can we ultimately defeat the enemy.

As long as I don''t have to fight this war, and, as long as I can keep my tax cuts, what do I have to lose by supporting this war? Sure it''s WWIII (even though we''re the only country that knows this), and our existence as a country hangs in the balance, the jihadists will be at our door and we''ll all be reading the Quran, why would my country need me to do any of the fighting? I''m a proud chickenhawk and I love this country more than you do.
