Australian Firm Confirms Its Guards Involved In Shootings That Killed 2 Iraqi Women
- "Turkish warplanes and helicopter gunships attacked suspected positions of Kurdish rebels near Iraq on Wednesday, a possible prelude to a cross-border operation that would likely raise tensions with Washington."
Here is why the last sentence is a blatant lie.
Turkey has been raiding Northern Iraq ever since Saddam fell, killing the same families for which the CIA gave Saddam the gas he used in his infamous attack. The Us has never cared about the Kurds, only used them to sign a bogus oil and gas agreement, in violation of that country''s sovereignty. Even if the people whose names are on the agreement are killed, the US will try to insist that the fake agreement is legal, and must be followed.
As for the lead story, claiming fear is the standard excuse used to legalize all crimes against humanity, this illegal war started because of it. Let the Iraqis do with Blackwater, and all private contractors who murder, as their laws prescribe, and as justice demands. - Reply to this comment
- Obama saying it does not alter the fact it is the same message promoted by Muslim extremists or OBL.
Nor does it alter the fact it is the same message Bush has been promoting since before he was elected in 2000.
Bush claimed God told him to invade Iraq, you can''''t get much more explicit than that so far as claiming you are acting as God''''s hand picked agent on earth.

Yes, Bush talks openly about his religion (but not like that quote), but everyone on the left has a fit because of it. But when a Democrat says anything about religion? Nothing.
You''re also being selectively and purposefully misleading (you call them lies) in what was claimed Bush said. A simple Google search found many stories, one of them was the original source saying he and the others knew Bush wasn''t being literal. Another one was the BBC backing off the original claim, due to White House denying the accuracy of the quotes and the original source saying it was taken out of context.
And I have no problem with what Obama said, because it is clear to me that he was pandering to his audience, like most politicians, whether it is what they voted for before they voted against, fake accents, tears on demand, fake outrage over phony "phony soldier" comments, pulling out or staying in Iraq, or deep spiritual enlightment but only when inside a church. - Reply to this comment
- Actually, I did know it was the Australian Company, I just ran off track...and I stand corrected.
I tend to be pithy about the whole idea of having paid mercernaries...and Iraq. It''s just another way to trickle money up into the pockets of the elite, and out of mine.
And, I can''t imagine the fear that those young mercenaries really live with to get their money, unless they''re totally brainwashed into thinking what they''re doing is right.
Killing someone just because you THINK they might be out to kill you doesn''t wash in this country...and it shouldn''t wash in Iraq either.
Had we really liberated Iraq...it would be Iraq protecting our dignitaries...the whole thing is a sham.
And to the nic xavierbrown...you speak of liberals as if it''s a dirty word. If you aren''t enjoying your social security already, or your medicare...please enjoy it when you get it. A lot of pinko commie liberals got it for you...protected it for you...and paid into it just like you did. When the time comes, if you hate what liberals do so much, just turn it down. Tell ''em you don''t need it. While you''re at it...pay little extra on your income tax and fund this war. Those mercernaries need some good flash lights and batons. - Reply to this comment
- Bush claimed he saw a "mirage" of WMD''s then democracy for Iraqis, then Al Queada in Iraq. Drinking his electric kool aid acid from the tap will create these kind of delusions.

Wow, are you delusional. "Papa Bush paid Saddam to invade Iraq" so he could go to war against Saddam? Do you even LISTEN to yourself?
The rest of your delusional post seems to ignore the fact that this wasn''t Blackwater, it was an Australian company, with nothing to do with Blackwater.
Our cops at home do NOT have to deal with suicide bombers everyday, yet they do risk their lives at every stop, not knowing, and having no way of knowing, what danger they are in for. But one thing is for sure, the cops here don''t have to worry much about the car exploding when they approach.
I think this is terrible that these women were killed unneccessarily. Unfortuneatly, there is no way to know the necessity until a car blows up in your face. It is also unfortunate that the terrorists also know this, and I''m sure they have set many people up to be killed this way because of the bad PR. We already know about the one "suicide bomber" who didn''t know his truck was rigged to explode, until it failed to detonate correctly and he got away. There''s no way to know how many other "suicide bombers" that were set up there have been. - Reply to this comment

Maybe you''''re just not seeing them. They seem to be occurring as frequently as ever. CBS doesn''''t bother putting them up as a headline anymore. They''''re not newsworthy now that Bush claimed the surge is working.

Typical *** from you. Always trying to find a reason why the truth can''t be the truth, because it doesn''t match what you want the truth to be. Civilian deaths have dropped dramatically (over 53%), and you refuse to believe it. Who is blind and believing lies now?- Reply to this comment
- They''''re just little george cowboys. Given their own version of the events, those 3 attempts to get the car to stop must have been almost simultaneous, if they still managed to stop the rapidly approaching vehicle.
The bushit doctrine states, that if,
1. you don''''t like someone, and
2. you can manage to convince anyone that they may be a threat, and
3. you can act before evidence that they are not a threat can surface,
then, it is your right and duty to kill them. Shoot then interrogate. The logical, albeit twisted conclusion results in genocide. It''''s a tool of tyrants throughout history, now including our own would-be king george.
It''''s not a surprise that these hired thugs lack restraint? They, like the bushit believe that laws are only guidelines, compliance is optional.
Like the Vichy French, Iraq is sovereign in name, only. The U.S. grants these gangs immunity and the colonial Iraqi government is allowed to complain.

"Sometimes this is a difficult road being in politics. Sometimes you can become fearful, sometimes you can become vain, sometimes you can seek power just for power%u2019s sake instead of because you want to do service to God. I just want all of you to pray that I can be an instrument of God in the same way that Pastor Ron and all of you are instruments of God . . . We%u2019re going to keep on praising together. I am confident that we can create a Kingdom right here on Earth."
Sorry, my mistake... Did I say Bush said that earlier? Don''t you think this would have been all over the news if Bush had said it? Actually, the person who made those comments was Barack Obama. I am sure you will pass your comments along to his campaign and to the Democratic party. After all, only Republicans talk like that, right? But it is duly noted what you think of Obama''s views and the views shared by the Democratic party. You''ve called Obama a terrorist that should become a martyr. Or are you going to change your mind now that you know it wasn''t Bush? It also shows how gullible you are for not researching a quote. Have a nice day! - Reply to this comment
- These little mercernaries are just a terrorist group...should be named al-Blackwater.
They say they pay these young mercernaries about $90,000 a year...so their payroll is $90,000,000 a year. To feed and arm 1,000 mercernaries costs...what? Somebody help me do the math...
It isn''t really worth it to do the math...I just want to know where the REST of the money given to just ONE company, aka, Blackwater, goes?
Everybody in Washington is so fond of innuendo...so let me make some too...Eric Prince was closely associated with White House as a page or something...during Papa Bush''s reign of terror. (Ever wonder how much Papa paid Hussein to invade Kuwait so he could have a war?) I''m wondering, mind you just speculating, where did Eric Prince get his seed money for this little company he started. The kid is 28 years old? He hasn''t even worked long enough to make a couple of million. So where did he get his money? And who authorized the State Department to give him so many no-bid contracts?
And who has unleashed this band of cowboys in Iraq, armed them with our money, and for $90,000 a year, how many of them have laid their lives down in real honest to God combat?
What the hell is wrong with approaching a vehicle and finding out who or what is in it? Our cops at home do this EVERY day, for $20,000 a year. THEY never know what could be in a vehicle either. God forbid if they should draw a weapon even to defend themselves. - Reply to this comment
