Prime Minister Sharply Rejects Government Decentralization Plan Pushed By Biden, Others
- re: "MOST Democrats in Congress, including Nancy Pelosi, Russ Feingold, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer, Carl Levin and D*ick Durbin, VOTED NO TO THE BUSH QUAGMIRE IN 2002."
It was because of lockstep, kneejerk Republican Congressional support for the Bush Quagmire, in October 2002, that we are in Iraq now.
Only one Republican Senator, and only a tiny handful (six, I think) of Republicans in the House of Representatives, voted against the Authorization to Use Force in Iraq.
If it had been up to the Democrats, we wouldn''t be there now. - Reply to this comment

- "...a congressional investigation publicized Thursday found that Blackwater triggered a major battle in Iraq by sending an unprepared team of security guards into an insurgent stronghold, a move that led to their horrific deaths and a violent response by U.S. forces."
Was Hillary Clinton involved in this investigation ?
Doesn''t she have some experience with Blackwater ?
...No, that was Whitewater. Never mind. - Reply to this comment

Thomas Jefferson knew about fascist nazi islam,,, he killed plenty of them,,,
In 1786 Jefferson and John Adams went to negotiate with Tripoli''''''''s envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman or (Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). They asked him by what right he extorted money and took slaves. Jefferson reported to Secretary of State John Jay, and to the Congress:
The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet (Mohammed), that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to heaven.[1]

- It is long past due time to undo the damage done to America by yet another Repubicon, Abraham Lincoln. I propose that the USA cleanse itself of the Fascist Confederate Southern Hate States by national referendum before the November, 2008 elections.

- rafterman:
I would say that you have summed up the issue rather completely.
Yes, Bush lied like hell to delude the American people into supporting the invasion of Iraq. I knew he was lying...you could hear it in his voice and see it in his face. A skeptical, yet spineless and self-serving Congress then voted to authorize the invasion because they were worried that Bush would come out a winner and they would be labeled as those who opposed this action. - Reply to this comment

- The Washington Regime''s war on behalf of Oil and Israel is an abomination. It is year''s past time that this be admitted and the perpetrators be made to pay the price for their perfidy. Bush said that regardless of whether Saddam was still in power, the US would be in Baghdad by March before he launched his war--the war was not to remove Saddam. Bush asked his national security team to ''find him a reason to invade Iraq'' less than two weeks after he took office. His entire Neo-scum-Trotskyite-Communist team was made up of ideologues who supported war against Iraq--and Powell, who was part willing accomplice and part rationalizing dupe, who had his limits when it came to swallowing the egregious nonsense that was the Neo-Scum ''case'' for war.
And what is the war goal?--The privatization of Iraq''s oil reserves so that the Anglo-American oil interests--and the vile French poodle-dog, Total, who has been promised a flavor-snack for getting the dirt bag Sarkozy into office.
