I refuse to believe that there is a direct link to the 9/11 catastrophe, and Sadaam''s refusal to comply with UN inspections that led us to formulate theories based on his lies, that Iraq had a salient WMD programe.

The mental exercises that correlate these two distinct situations baffles me. The psychological leap to bridge this disconnect appears to be fear based, that America couldn''t allow another similar event of destruction. It especially bothers me when people suggest that that this leap is based on faith. Fear mongering and faith based actions of love and respect for humanity are diametrically opposite one another.
