The founder of Blackwater is sketchy guy to be sure, but many of the members of Blackwater are actually ex-special forces officers woed away from the army for higher pay. I know there is a lot of talk about Blackwater beating down our doors-- and perhaps that is plan of its founder-- but I don''t think many of their mercenaries would actually consider participating in some sort of fascist revolution. They are misguided, don''t get me wrong, but I don''t think they are actually going to appear on your doorstep any time soon.

The USA Patriot Act tramples on Fourth Amendment right. First, Section 213 makes a mockery of the warrant process. This section allows for "sneak- and-peak "home invasions. The FBI does need a warrant, but you,as a citizen, have no right to inspect the warrant, which is one of the primary purposes for it in the first place. You should be able to go over the warrant and see if law enforcement is in the right place. But if law enforcement shows up when it knows you''re not home, you''re out of luck. Under the Original Patriot Act, Law enforcement do not even need to inform you that they had barged in as long as they continued to claim you were still under investigation.

I am sorry to admit that I am a registered a Republican, but I never stooped low enough to vote for a Bushie, and I don''t subscribe to the Jesus crowd,either. I do have one big SUV (to tow a boat) and a small Honda civic (hopefully balances out to a medium size car!).

I only stay a Republican to piZZ-off other Republicans, if that makes any sense. I haven''t voted for a Republican in years. Used to like McCain until he sold his soul and integrity to goose-step with the Bush apologists. I mean, the Republican agenda is totally opposite of what they practice. Are we really as gullible as the German people were? Are there any other Republicans on this site that have become disconnected with the party - or am I just totally whacked?
