Embassy Resumes "Mission-Essential" Trips Outside Green Zone With Security Contractor
- Why do we need these guys to defend diplomats anyway? Can''t the normal military do it. Iraq wants them out. Send Blackwater home. Even better, disband them. They are an unnecessary menace that is undermining the strength of our own military by headhunting special forces officers.

- That''s US democracy IRAQ! Blackwater stays and that is the end of the discussion (after all, the owner of Blackwater is a huge GOP donator).
You do what we say and want. Remember what happened to Saddam and all of the other leaders who initially were bought and paid for by the US, however bad or evil, then tried to stand their ground and not toe the US line. A lot of dead world leaders. - Reply to this comment

- MCVet--From the days of Woodrow Wilson the Democratic Party has been the userful idiot of the Ruling Class. He once said that the nation should be ruled by a board of directors with JP Morgan as Chairman of the Board. Wilson gave away the farm, turning the money power over to private bankers--chief of which was the same JP Morgan. It was FDR that kept a lid on the people after the FED, the capitalists and the speculators tanked the economy--Winston Churchill was at the NYSE to view the Crash first hand. When the vile banker FDR died, it was the Harry S. Truman who let ''em ''do'' Hiroshima and Nagasaki and under whom the rough outline of the National Security State was set up and it was under ''Big Nose'' Baines who put the Vietnam Experience into full gear after being part and parcel of the conspiracy that whacked JFK. The mainstream Democratic Party, like the mainstream Republican Party are the scum of the earth--and have actually done more than the Republicans to bring the USA to this sad state of affairs by pandering to people with empty rhetoric and then betraying them.
On the Democratic side, it is Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel who stand against the mainstream. On the Republican side, Ron Paul stands alone for the Constitution against the fascist Demo-publican regime in power. - Reply to this comment

- On YAHOO news is an opinion piece titled: "Blackwater: Hired Guns, Above the Law" written by Jeremy Scahill and is a transcript of his testimony before the Senate Democratic Policy Committee, Sept 21.
Anyone who wants to discuss the efficacy of Blackwater USA needs to read it.
Mr. Scahill makes a recommendation that would be enlightening for everyone.
"I would humbly submit that the chairs of relevant committees in both the House and Senate use their power of subpoena to compel the heads of the major war contracting companies operating on the US payroll in Iraq to appear publicly before the American people and answer for the actions of their forces." - Reply to this comment

- I thought I told you to go to Europe?
Look, it has nothing to do with being a neocon or military industrial complex or any of that political science mumbo-jumbo hyperbole. I served in the military under President Reagan, President Bush (one), Clinton, and President Bush (two)...all of them ordered Soldiers to fight. And, we picked up our rucksack and went. We don''t care who wears the "suit" or what others think...we go. Some in our ranks became blurred on our purpose because they thought the military was a paycheck, college money, and a tea party with cool clothes. War thins the ranks of sunshine patriots, flag waivers, and cowards.
I also told you to read the St Crispin''s day speech. So, print it out and you can read it on the plane ride to Praque where you can join the Bohemians, grow a goatee, sip organic coffee, and spout F. Scott Fitzgerald. - Reply to this comment
- unfortunately for america, the south murdered abraham lincoln before he could reconstruct the south.

- Whoever is in charge of these guys needs to keep them on a short leash as they are way too gung ho for anyone''s good and apparently they get away with absolutely every inconceivable disgusting thing they want to with no punity whatsoever. They are the police squades of the "end times" and they are an American owned company (Bushes are shareholders). So the Bush family cabal makes money through no bid contracts for their services, and these mercenaries are worse than Hitler''s SS squades. How can anyone support the Bushes or these far right Republican cruel facists? I Cannot believe this is happening in America - we need to wake up and fast America!!!

- one more thing.... it appears that we now have a permanent military class and they are the ones that are suffering the consequences of this war alone in this country while the rest of us go blithely along shopping or whatever and the Iraqi people are suffering greatly in their country but you know out of sight out of mind. continue shopping keep the debt growing and keep China''s ability to blackmail us growing!

I stand watch, I stand my post, I put myself in harms way, I stand for something!
As I said, you Neocons have not fought a legitimate war for America since WWII. Eisenhower had you Fascists tagged back in the early 50''s as members of the traitorous Military Industrial Complex. In other words, you parasites are MURDERING THIEVES and should be hung in each of your respective towns public squares for TREASON. - Reply to this comment

Thank you FeelFree1. I''m sorry I missed you, but you got me right as I have to go!. I hope to be able to join you in our fight for freedom in the near future.
And believe me, we all owe our thanks to many Americans, far braver than I, who are now standing for our country and Constitution. I hope that we all can summon the will and courage to join them. I know you already have.
A great place for everyone to find information about freedom events is www.GrassrootsAmerica4us.org. And tell Tina Richards that SearingTruth sent you! :)
