Cheer up only 14 more months then we can see what the next will do. Im not holding my breath because I have never seen such a bunch of losers looking to get into office then the bunch we have a choice from today. IMO they should put it off until we get a real set of contenders in there. What we have now is nothing short of a joke. Its going to be a boring year of mud slinging.

southerners hope to elect another faith professing, conservative republican.

the south hopes to win the all time loser''s award.

jefferson davis lost his war...
johnson lost his war...
bush will lose his war...

if the south can lose just one more war,

they will beat the french for most wars lost, ever!

ha,ha,ha.

those southern republican christian creeps ought to stay in church and out of politics

the south can''t be depended upon to do the right thing for america.

they will have lost an opportunity at freedom.

Posted by donbl1 at 05:48 PM : Sep 18, 2007

??? Where exactly is the Iraqi opportunity for Freedom? We only ever offered it on our terms (which seems to include a 30 year drilling and exploration contract for BP, Hunter, Shell and Exxon.....They do not seem to have the freedom yet to tell us to leave not even our security firms.

On the other hand, we have provided them a type of equal opportunity that they never had under Saddam. To be targeted by him, you had to be against the government, a Shia, an anti baathist, an anti government, too pretty, too political, etc. So if a person was wily--they could survive.

We offer equal opportunity of mayhem and our grim reaper is truly blind--you can be Kurd, Christain, Sunni or Shia, Baathist, American lover or American hater, young, old, ugly or poor. Anti gov or Pro government, rich, poor, does not matter--for the first time in their history--they cannot play a game to get away from the death and destruction--now, they can be killed going to school or church or the store or even leaving the country--the knock at the door can be a criminal, an occupier a ***** death squad---anyone....they can die for any reason or no reason and it does not matter who they are affiliated with. Talk about equal opportunity--we have truly made them all free to die--in a war, they never asked for--for government privileges they never volunteered to die for--aren''t we the generous ones?

Got this from a good friend of mine just now who was special forces Vietnam and is recovering from illness.......

A quote from long ago by another general....

[] "It appears we have appointed our worst generals to command forces, and our most gifted and brilliant to edit newspapers. In fact, I discovered by
reading newspapers that these editor-geniuses plainly saw all my strategic defects from the start, yet failed to inform me until it was too late.
Accordingly, I am readily willing to yield my command to these obviously superior intellects, and I will, in turn, do my best for the Cause by
writing editorials - after the fact."

General Robert E. Lee, 1863

Haw, Sounds like someone in IRAQ has some common sense finally,, now if they''d just apply that same logic to the Idiots in the White house and order George and *** to leave the White House or else, this World and the Country would be a lot safer ! Not only should Dirty Water leave IRAQ, but also Someone should tell the Dipstick Texan, he''s not too well liked around the World, as well as most Republican "GOONS" !!!!!! Go back to Texas Georgey Boy!!! Take that *** with you too !!!!!

J,

Interestingly, Bush has studied those models as they were core in his MBA program in those days. Too bad he has not reviewed that material as it might have changed the focus of his strategy going into Iraq and now.

Please tell me you are just saying that and do not see the game: Bush allows Maliki to bluster so he can look independent to his people, then after a little time out, the PM turns around and does what we want. This happened when he wanted immunity for insurgents who attacked American soldiers, (it was finally shot down by our country), it happened again, when Al Maliki said the American military had gone to far against the Shia, then he gave them carte blanche in Jan of 2007, it is happening now--even as we speak, the PM has changed his position from ousting Blackwater to a temporary suspension until they promise not to kill so many next time. It is a tap and dance and those dancing partners understand each other. Al Maliki blusters just enough to pretend he is his own man, then he comes round full circle ---and Bush pretends not to have Al Maliki in hand and lets him bluster--then he does what we want--either all at once or in pieces--if you want to know what game is being played--stop looking at the moves--and look at the entire field, the entire game and the end point goal--they tell more about the type of game than any singular scrimmage which may be done for show--not for substance. Bush keeps Al Maliki because they understand the roles and the game--only when enough Americans can see the game, can we get out of it. "Magister Ludi" by Herman Hesse. Know the game. or better yet. fvck the game and just know the objective in playing it.

The fear of a police state - been hearing that shi''''ite for at least 25 years, about the same load as our big deficit, soaring this and crashing that...

whatta LOAD!

Yeah...it is sorta like predicting rain. A lot of the time--it just doesn''t happen, but sooner of later it does. Those who base their predictions on dark clouds gathering--are more apt to be on the mark than those who spout it on a clear day.

Hmmm--disregarding the Constitution, spying on citizens, commandeering the National Guard, corrupting or stacking the DOJ, wire taps, email and letter trawling, ignoring the Congress and subpoenas, outing agents. ignoring the will of the majority, declaring one person the "decider", ignoring the law, removing our signatures from the Geneva Conventions, declaring immunity from laws a President may have broken, hmmmmmmmm some of say it looks like rain--just because you lived in the desert and cannot fathom it--does not mean rain won''t fall--it just means that when it does--people like you won''t know what is happening and will run around like your heads are cut off. NO one is ever in a police state--until they are. Not a good time to see the light. Watch out little boy--it looks like it may rain--storm clouds are gathering. LOL

Good question, J.

Not much longer - as Iraq now has more newspapers than America, I think. The newspapers are also more "yellow journalism" than MSNBC and FOX put together.

The Iraq public will not put up with this violence much longer or they will center around an Al-Sadr or a junior Saddam who promises them safety and they will have lost an opportunity at freedom.

Remember Maslo/Hertzberg? Security is pretty basic.

Similar problem happening in Afghanistan.

It makes some kind of sense for corporations to have their own private armies. However, I think they are miscalculating. When the financial markets eventually collapse (and propping them up again today just makes that collapse bigger and louder) the worm will turn. We will see the vast ignorant losers of America rise up against the greedy and rich ignorant of America, with the result some kind of state-centric tyranny. The US Army will battle it out with the private corporate armies, since after all is said and done they are in fact rivals much as the brownshirts versus the SS. The army will hold final power in the US, as in most third-world countries.

Anyway, I don''t see anything in my fellow countrymen worth preserving, so good luck idiots. Hope you like your just desserts.

LOL!! Why bless the space where your heart would have been! (had you had one) I haven''t been mistaken for 21 in almost 30 years--I''m afraid I have to reiterate the words I posted to your compadre, Spearhead6: I am not into emotional or any other kind of masturbations==so if a "grip" or any other participation is what you need, you Republican types can stick to the trolling for action in the men''s restrooms and leave me out of it. My interaction is strictly in dialogue and I limit it to that--so either interact and post intelligent dialogue so the debate can continue, or circle jerk your thoughts with each other--most of us are serious bloggers and have no time for you wannabees. lmaoay

So the real question is: will Bush pardon more folks than current pardon record holder Clintoon ???
Posted by badaxmofo at 05:22 PM : Sep 18, 2007

See? That is what is wrong with neo cons and other Bush sycophants--you either think too small or too petty. Nope, the real question is, at the end of all of this, will you be in a free nation or a slave in a police state? And whose game will it be? Still a Republican gambit or shall you have to morph into a pretend liberal to survive? Because absolute power does corrupt--but who wields it in the end? The real problem is, what will happen when no matter what you say or do or whose azz you kiss, someone higher up wants what you have? In a police state--you will either give it up willingly or it will be taken and you will be eliminated. So the real question is--where are we headed.

But we don''t expect true Bush believers to ever ask or entertain that question--for you all--ignorance (the practice and state of it) truly is bliss. lmao.

Like someone else said--time to unplug from the matrix. lol

Spearhead6,,
, There are other contracted security groups that don''t cause as many problems as Blackwater has in the past,, they don''t have a stellar reputaion.
.. Nor does it contribute to our efforts to win the hearts & minds of the people, only the opposite & if they are guilty they should leave before they cause more problems.
