I heard that Petreaus trotted out the same old bugaboos from Bush on today the anniversary of 9-11. That he was fairly unrelenting in continually referring to [gasp] al queda, al queda and oh yeah al queda.

Problem is that our own military experts have shown there''s no link of al queda in iraq to osama''s al queda and that AQI are responsible for apprx. 2% of the battles within Iraq.

And is Petreaus and Bush also asking for 10 more months to let theur 6 month strategy succeed - meaning Bush wants 16 months for his 6 month surge? And we are all aware that the drawdown mentioned by Petreaus and Bush is simply the end of the tour of the surge troops. They will have been in Iraq on ground for 16 months by that time - 4 months beyond the usual year tour - another back-door draft is planned.

How is it that just when you think Bush Camp can''t or won''t sink any lower into the sewage they do??

But fascism was a thing in our history that has significant meaning. Significant historical relevance. And the loose use.. the loose use.. such as this of such a word is.. well. I think you should think about it sommore.

You need to talk to a German to understand Fascism. The key in fascism is finding a Hate Target. In nazi germany it was Jews mostly but Unions and *** were major targets as well. But regardless of the hate Target, you blame ALL the ills of society on your hate target... you create an enviroment where you do not have to defend your actions. When someone brings up some error or mistake, you call them by the name of your hate target, attack them and never answer the question on the error or failure. The Gestapo in Germany were experts at this. Once that is done, you turn the Government and it''s leader into a religious "god". The Leader is a tool of god or is a god... i.e. Fuhrer. The German''s under Hitler believed that the fuhrer talked with and was in direct communications with god... some even thought he was god. Is any of this starting to sound fimular?

I was born and raised in the south and he isn''t far off the mark. The most evil creatures on this planet have come from the south, without a doubt. There have been a few good one''s but MOST aren''t intelligent enough or are to scared to understand the people in the world with them. Look at our President... has there EVER been a less intelligent human on planet earth. I sure haven''t met one.

Fascism to me is a kind of a socialism. Its a kind of a behavior based "it takes a village" kinda thing. More than the other thing.

Mind you, sometimes capitalism looks like fascism. And if people call it fascism over and over again like a broken record, eventually people are going to believe it to be fascism.

But fascism was a thing in our history that has significant meaning. Significant historical relevance. And the loose use.. the loose use.. such as this of such a word is.. well. I think you should think about it sommore.

Pessimism is not an acceptable strategy, in politics, and certainly not in regards to our military - especially when the facts show progress. Time will show the gross error in judgement made by the Democrats in seeking to smear the reputation of a General and a Stateman who are honorably serving our country''''s interests.

The Democrats are seeking to ignore this lesson at their own peril.

The democrats didn''t smear Petraeus or Crocker. Who said what ??

Optimism is not a healthy state of mind either as in "Mission Accomplished" - well only if you like to eat crow - Bush has a good BBQ recipe for crow you should get.
