The Real Reason We''re In Iraq:
An influential group of conservatives convinced President George W. Bush that it was in America''s best interests to conquer Iraq as a first step toward dominating the oil-producing nations in the Middle East. There was no "exit plan" because we never intended to exit. The plan was, and is, to build military bases in Iraq and stay there forever. Our leaders see Iraq as a place to make money. So Bush & Co. have set up their friends to cash in on the rebuilding of Iraq.

AND THIS IS OK RIGHT, LETS NOT HELP OUR OWN AMERICANS WE DONT CARE ABOUT OUR OWN CHILDREN.

BUT WE WILL GIVE GRANTS(OUR FREE TAX DOLLARS TO THIS)

The city''s Department of Education has said that part of the reason for the school is to respond to the need for Arabic speakers _ one that the federal government has recognized and has taken steps to address.

Grants have been given out to schools that teach students critical-need languages such as Chinese and Arabic, federal Department of Education program specialist Becky Richie said.

While many of the grants have gone toward Chinese-language programs, some have gone to schools in places including Iowa and Michigan to teach or expand Arabic programs, she said.

AND THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN DOING BUISNESS WITH THE ENEMY..BUT ALL YOU SO CALLED AMERICANS CAN''T SEE IT..

Meanwhile, another British newspaper reports the Chinese hackers accused of breaching United States defense systems have also attacked key British government computer networks.

Attackers based in China have launched online assaults against the network at Britain''s Parliament and the Foreign Office, The Guardian said, citing unnamed government officials.

It added that some of the hackers were believed to be from the Chinese military, without citing sources.

Britain''s Ministry of Defense refused to comment. The Foreign Office said it could not comment on security matters.

The Financial Times report said the Pentagon was still investigating how much information was stolen, but cited an unnamed person as saying that most of it was probably unclassified.

SO JUST DO NOTHING AMERICANS..REVOLUTION IS THE ONLY WAY TO CLEAN UP WASHIMGTON

One of the reasons to "stay the course". The war doesn''t need to be won, but sustained.

RE: "The Washington Post lists the following members and donors for Freedom''s Watch..."

Before anyone makes the predictable anti-Semitic comments...

This has nothing to do with ethnicity or religion, and everything to do with fat cats paying off their personal IOU''s to the two principal villains and liars of the piece, fat cat George Bush and fat cat D*ick Cheney.

Of the 23 Senators who voted "No" to the "Authorization for the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq" back in 2002, 5 were Jewish: Barbara Boxer, Russ Feingold, Carl Levin, the late Paul Wellstone and Ron Wyden.

This recommendation to stay the course comes from the same crowd that just allowed this:

an Air Force squadron commander has been relieved of his command after five nuclear weapons were mistakenly loaded aboard a B-52 bomber and flown cross-country last week.

Our Pentagon flew 5 NUCLEAR WAR HEADS ACROSS OUR COUNTRY............

Hopeless, inept incompetence%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026

Same crowd managing Iraq, pitiful

And Swift Boater as well.

Ground hog day for Bush we are winning speech, Saddam, al Qaeda bad guys, killing fields, aka Stay the Course, Stay the Course, Stay the Course but spend more money, Stay the Course, blah, blah, blah, blah. Bush and his Co Conspirators in Congress say whatever, when ever with no material foundation in fact, and oh big surprise the Pentagon fudged the numbers an excluded several dead in their body counts since Jan.

I am particular amused by the Republican who in their Fly over of Iraq are now convinced that Staying the Court is the right things because on their visit. Representative Chris Shays was a hoot and looked like a total fool in his really stretched definition of success he appeared totally dishonest, what is with Conn voters.

These Republican Representative and Senators have no creditability and must be removed from office start a recall in your State. Not sure who they are listening but let me add a voice, the American People are on to your RNC Bot sound bites and political tactics, as not spin but lies and 2006 was not about Foley it is about your failed governance of this Country and Our WE THE PEOPLES INTREST instead of your own.

17 Senators need to vote with the Dems to change the course and stop the killing and drain on the Treasury Bush wants another 50 Billion.....

"Freedom''s Watch''s advertising campaign emphasizes the sacrifice of U.S. troops and their families, and has been accused of falsely implying a link between the September 11, 2001 attacks and the Iraq war. ABC News wrote that, "The ads also link the war with Sept. 11, despite no reliable evidence Iraq played any role in those attacks." In one advertisement Laura Youngblood, widow to Travis Youngblood, a Navy petty officer, who died in Iraq in 2005 as the result of a roadside bombing, claims "I lost two family members to Al Qaeda -- my uncle, a firefighter, on 9/11, and my husband, Travis, in Iraq. Congress did the right thing, voting to defeat terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan." adding that "Switching their votes now, for political reasons, it will mean more attacks in America." In another advertisement Iraq war veteran, John Kriesel, who lost both legs in a blast near Fallujah states, "They attacked us, and they will again. They won''t stop in Iraq." On April 29, 2007, former Director of Central Intelligence George Tenet said on 60 Minutes that the Bush Administration "could never verify that there was any Iraqi authority, direction and control, complicity with Al-Qaeda for 9/11 or any operational act against America, period."

Realpatriot, what''s rational to an ingrate and idiot like yourself?????? Your one of the biggest simpletons here at leftwing central, one of the leading Bush/America bashers at these posts. When the U.S. eventually defeats the radical Islamist quest to damage or destroy freedom loving peoples, you will have to find some other twisted anti-American agenda to occupy your time, I''m sure you will find something else about America to rail on. You live in the greatest country on earth and all you do is critisize, what an ingrate! By the way your post name is an oxymoron. Realenemy is far more appropriate.

Not one of the founders of that organization is a veteran.

Not one.

Their ads exploit injured veterans and the victims of 9/11.

They are all wealthy Bush supporters, fat cats who want to protect their own wealth and position.

They all Bush favors, and he''s called in his IOU''s.
