"being detained because unauthorized weapons were found in their car. "

might as well "detain" the entire country - we''ve made it possible for every man, woman, and child to have all the weapons they need.

seems like a flimsy excuse to harass our new object of evil, iran.

Well, ain''t this grand. Now the Shiites are killing the Shiites. I guess they ran out of Sunnis, and those Kurds are to tough to mess with very much. It looks like the Muslims hate each other more than they hate anyone. That is who they keep killing, other Muslims.
We need to get our guys out of there NOW. They had their chance for freedom, democracy, and all those flowery ideas, but they have chosen to continue killing each other. They all want freedom for their sect, and not for any other sect. We need to get out NOW.

Our troops and the people of Iraq are being exposed to radiation risk, disease and death. Our soldiers are dying from cancers, their offspring are damaged, their lives ruined while Queen George and his throne-squatting cousins in England are profiting from the use of depleted uranium munitions...250,000 former soldiers from the first Gulf War are on disability--THE FIRST WAR AGAINST IRAQ WAS NOT A CHEAP WAR...THIS IS NOT A CHEAP WAR!

If you want to end the war, you have to vote for the anti-war candidates!

Troops Home Now! The enemy is in Washington! The borders are open, the Constitution subverted and the nation betrayed! Troops Home Now!

In July 2007, the Government Accountability Office found even larger discrepancies, reporting that the American military %u201Ccannot fully account for about 110,000 AK-47 rifles, 90,000 pistols, 80 items of body armor, and 115,000 helmets reported as issued to Iraqi security forces as of Sept. 22, 2005.%u201D NYTimes

Are we sure that it is Iran supplying the insurgents? Perhaps the weapons cache could give some indication as to where the weapons for the insurgency comes from. Perhaps Gen.P. was a bit too impatient to arm certain militias to fight other militias that he had armed.

And, as always, Bush spins the release of detainees as a new agreement towards THE goal."begins to establish new power-sharing agreements." ????????????????

Welcome to the Stupid Peoples'' War! This is what the entire flock of mainstream candidates want to continue with plans for piecemeal withdrawals some time in the future until ''time tables'' are met or ''reports'' are evaluated.

Good News Americans...at least for those of you who only care about backing a winnerYou tax dollars are backing a winner!...The contractors are paying off insurgents for protection and figuring the price into the inflated cost of the contract! The insurgents then use the money for weapons and supplies with which to kill and maim our soldiers...you remember them don''t you?-- they are the ''targets'' the Regime pays next to nothing for risking their lives fighting for Oil, Israel and Opium.
