tuckerndfw - I think what Bush being made president shows is that the American people as a whole have become too lazy and too easily swayed by media ads -- going for glitz and shine over substance. Rove ingeniously played them right - his experience with direct marketing taught him how to fool folks into buying what doesn''t exist - whether it''s the Miracle Hair Be-Gone Creme or George W. Bush, President.

Even much of our evening news is filled with foolishness - Paris Hilton and the like - and then 10 seconds on War in Iraq.

Bush never had anything to recommend him - when I''ve told people that he failed in each and every business he started and had to declare bankruptcy they were shocked - they hadn''t known that. They didn''t have the ''time'' to read a newspaper or watch more in-depth news.

Lars002 --- Are you aware of the fact reported by the Army Chief of Staff General Casey said "Our Militaries Strategic Reserves is Gone, the army needs a minimum of 18 months at home for training & olny major''''s & above get any training on conventional warfare" ????

Lars002,,,, Are you aware that the majority of American Jews cannot get access to AIPAC & say it does not represent them ???? -- They accuse AIPAC of supporting Radical Zionism & contributing to Human Rights abuses in Palestine.

j-whitman - I knew they had stepped way outside the Protestant Church - but when the Evangicals are calling them facists and nutjobs then we''re really in trouble!

Bush is a Calvinist - and as one he believes he was born and then saved from the devil (booze and drugs) to be President - he believe in pre-ordination. And he also believes that there are those born to serve him - they will never be equal to him and will not be saved when he is at the time of The Rapture - for he believes he will sit at the Right Hand of God.

Many alcholics and addicts turn to religion to help them get and stay sober - the Higher Power -- but I''ve never met one who is so delusional about it -- goes to show the true dangers of addiction - destruction of the brain leaves it open for suggestive brainwashing!

It used to be that America was hesitant about war. That we were a peaceful nation, who left destiny and fate and whatever up to the Lord Almighty. But not anymore.. Nowadays? We got these here "socio-engineers". Who think they can shock and awe people into submission. And today our war machine is the almighty trouble maker in the world. Instead our country''s self defense, its succumbed to philosophies.. and theologies.. and evil manipulations. Too big fer its own bridges.

"Looks like the White House that won WW2 was correct ------ Fascism has come to America in the form of Christianity"

The way I figure, J? WW2 made these people crazy. They think that the more people you kill, the more right you are. Has something to do with that General in Japan. The war machine is just out of control.

tuckerndfw - actually Bush diverted the nation from the War on Terror to his invasion of iraq which has as you point out certainly enriched a great number of Bush supporters.

The Bushits who are not getting wealthy off the deal are defending Bush for reasons nobody can figure out - it doesn''t make sense - numbers show that only the top 1% are making out under Bush - yet these yokels are cheering him on for making the wealthy wealthier...

This is what heppens when you put a drunken stoned out drug-fired fool in the white house.

To be technically accurate, according to his record, Bozo Bush is a drunken, drug addicted, draft dodging deserter who has never done an honest day''s work in his life.

The upside is that Bozo has demonstrated that anyone is qualified to be president. We should eliminate presidential elections and simply appoint some homeless, unemployed person to the job.
