U.S.: Iraq Leaders "Unable To Govern"

Why should they be any different than OUR congress? We''''ve had 200+ years and still can''''t do much of anything. 18% and falling! Way to go, Nancy! :)

NIE Report states it is not a good time to draw down and Warner wants the troops out by Christmas. I''m surprised that they know about Christmas.

What a coincidence. Bush is unable to offer competent leadership as well.

The surge was never intended to stop the violence throughout the country. The intention was to provide security in Baghdad to give the illusion that Maliki"s (read shrub''s) "government" was in control and making progress............"while Rome burned." The "good guy" told Bush, and ultimately America, go to he11. Yep, a good guy. Sheesh.

It is funny the GOP spends so much time and effort blaming every one else rather than put that time money and effort into fixing the problems. But then again look at big bussiness and big religion they do the same. The Christans blame the Muslims and the Jews then the Muslims blame the Jews and the Christans and the Jews blame the other two. So I think that maybe all three are worthless false religions.

Thats why we''re so evil with our politics. Ya got these devils talking our leaders into crazy crazy ideologies, that more often than not directly contradict faiths, in vicarious ways. America was a place of the basics before cable teevee news came along. The potholes.. the toilet.. the roads.. the buildings and the bridges. And not no: "I married a prince and he took all my children because of his religion, and I want my children back."

You can always judge the leadership of a country by the state of its sewer system.. Why? Because the sewer is unglamorous. The sewer is something nobody wants to think about. The sewer is where no chicks are at.. just ugly hairy old plumbers. And nobody wants to deal with it. Politicians are so glamorous nowadays, they''re hooked on fame. They''re baited by devils, both overseas and here.. who talk them into crazy crazy things.. never associated with american leadership before.

To the Bush-bashers and anti-troop crowd:

You are losing your war against America.

Even your liberal Democrat leaders are changing their positions on the war.

Hillary Clinton says that the surge tactics are "working" - it%u2019s just a matter of days before more Democrats subtly, yet rapidly, change their position on progress of the surge.

Democrats already know that the Petraeus Report in September will without a doubt show all the real accomplishments that the liberal media has been hiding from the public. And, unlike the liberal press who simply spin news, or lie by omission of fact, Petraeus will have solid, unambiguous proof of the real progress on the ground, and of how the surge has made reconciliation in Iraq possible.

What I expect will happen after the report will be a groundswell of anger of Americans Democrats, Republicans and Independents - against the liberal media and the anti-troop liberal activists for hiding and distorting the truth.

And your whining and seething will stop none of it - you''ll just be a casualty of the crossfire, and the surge will simply continue until complete success in Iraq is achieved.

Nobody, especially me, is expecting you to change your position on the war; however, don''t think about blaming anyone but yourselves when you suddenly and permanently become the pariahs of society...it%u2019s a label you will have earned many time over, and will stick with you for a lifetime, and will be the embarrasment of you children.

Why would this be a headline, oh I forgot that things are going a lot better on the ground in Iraq. Dems have got to come up with somthing negative about the war. You guys need to go back to sleep and let GW keep you free so you can keep posting your BS and continue to live your gloom and doom lives.

One guy said it really good in the wake of that bridge disaster. He said it used to be a competition.. It used to be a thing of pride, a country''s infrastructure. People would come the world over to see american ingenuity. But ever since these neo-con socio engineering freaks came alone, everythings been breaking down from neglect. People see those people get away with murder and theft, and they can''t help but to ask themselves: "Why can''t I do it too?"

donnie900 --- Yep,, & that same National Security Cutter is still plagued with major problems, not counting idential probs on the 2nd & scrapping all the others.

Bush had a big photo op next to it, but he wouldn''t step on board --- He was afraid it would either sink or mistake him for someone on active duty.

cbs, slot cars. I mentioned that to someone else and they laughed at me. But it can work. Plus ya gotta make a novelty out of public transportation. Like a monorail like commuter train. Clean and efficient..

And buses too.

cbscrash07 - If your post was intended to take my breath away, it succeeded. You can''t be serious, so I won''t even debate the merits of MASS MURDER vs. car accidents????

Also, it wouldn''t be so "meaningless" if the troop killed was your brother, father or son! Shame on you!!
