"You are almost correct, the numbers of dead from both bush''''s campaigns has taken more than half a million lives, that beats the score of the power strugglers. Still, your point begs a question, why go in half arsed to a war, even one started on the basis of lies?

On the premise of such a war, limiting collateral casualties has no meaning, because there was no reason for the first casualty, and all others that followed, intentional or accidental.

Truth is, this was not a war that could be won, because the definition of won doesn''''t yet exist. This debacle was meant to be sustained, for the sake of the war profiteers that kick back to Bush." - Posted by brianbwb

Your whole post is a crock, first we know the half million number is a looney left inflation; but for the tens of thousands killed...its not George W. Bush or the US troops setting off car bombs and remote-detonated bombs in civilian markets, at religious festivals, or in religious shrines. Tens of thousands have died due to the Taliban in Afghanistan and Al Qaeda in Iraq (and their allies) - not from our efforts to protect the. The usual "war profiteer" *** you spew is just further proof you don''t have a clue.

Have a nice radio-active, leftist, progresive day, it''s time to leave this leftist fest site and rejoin the real world for a while.

jowand--You and your neo-scum friends are the same ones who supported the lies regarding the Saddam''s WMDs....and the ''they''ll welcome us with flowers'' gang....the ''Mission Accomplished'' brigade...

We are not talking about uranium found in nature--we are not even talking about large ingested particles. We are talking about aerosolized DU taken in by the respiratory system, crossing into the blood stream and spreading in a devil may care fashion throughout the body. Each particle giving off the equivalent of thousands of chest X-rays per year. The multiplicity of symptoms is accounted for by where these particles come to rest.

In Britain, radioactivity measured in the atmosphere increased to 6X the recommended exposure for uranium miners with the attack on Iraq.

It has a half life of 4.5 billion years.

These shells burn on impact and the DU is aerosolized. Find a garden with this in it, jowand.

Posted by jowand,

It is called depleted because the radiation is no longer sufficient to generate heat for the nuclear reactors. This does not mean zero, in fact it cannot reach zero, or anywhere near zero.

Anyone working in HazMat can tell you it is still not something you want laying around in your back yard, it is still a deadly radioactive material, and will cause cancers, tumors, birth defects, and other ugly health problems.

Look it up.

Ahh yes, I remember you trying to use that argument just a few days ago - mind you, you were using your own bad language at the time and calling people names.

What a hypocrite you are.

By the way - if bad language upsets you, perhaps you should go play in la la land where you belong.

Bushshit.

We went to war based on the lies of morally corrupt right wing neo-con Republicanazis fake christians, killing tens or hundreds of thousands of civilians in the process, knowing full well that we were bombing civilian areas.

I suggest you read up on what constitutes breaches of the Geneva Convention.

We have repeatedly murdered civilians in Iraq - men, women and children through the actions of GW Bush and his Administration.

And the fact that you right wing pieces of cr@p need to constantly resort to the argument of "well, the insurgents are killing people" to justify our own crimes, highlights the lack of morals that you Republicanazis have.

When you use White Phosphorous as a chemical weapon against cities where civilians are trapped - you are committing war crimes.

And if you commit crimes of any sort, you deserve to be punished appropriately.

If the punishment involves GW Bush and the gallows, so be it.

God can sort that piece of cr@p out.

"Deranged Bush Syndrome" is fortunately confined to all right wing Republicanazis.

Fortunately, they can easily be spotted and avoided when out and about in the community, because their heads are usually shoved up their own a$$.
