Basically singinrick''s argument is, "I know Jesus Christ is God, because the New Testament says so."

This argument is of the form "I know the George Foreman barbecue grill is the best barbecue grill, because I heard George Foreman himself say it is, on TV !!"

No real scholars now believe that was written by "eye witnesses." You have to go to places like Bob Jones University to find anyone arguing that the New Testament was actually written by Jesus'' disciples.

And that is all I will have to say on the tawdry topic of theology, this evening.

Dr. Edward Jenner (and those like him) deserve our admiration and reverence.

His vaccine (in just a century) helped bring about the eradication of smallpox worldwide.

That was something that (SUPPOSEDLY) Jesus Christ could have done in 30 AD, but chose not to. He was too busy glorifing "The Son of Man" (himself) to eradicate any diseases.

Now a 2nd rescue worker in Utah has died...

Forcing Richard Stickler on to MSHA with a recess appointment is turning out as bad as putting Micheal Brown in charge of FEMA.

You''re doing a heck of a job there Sticky!

Rick you turned your back on God by accepting his so called son as a god & ignoring his commandments.

"Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin were born on the same day. [February 12, 1809]

Can there be any doubt which of them better deserved the title "The Great Emancipator" ?"

All this may sound "supernatural" but since when does God ever claim to be simply "natural????"

Jesus even said His Kingdom is NOT of this world.

You got that right.

[Sound of Twilight Zone theme...]

"And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God."
- Mark 16:17-19

Hallucinogenic, delusional psychosis, unfit for the minds of modern educated human beings.
