brianbwb,

Re: "So now the press would have you condemn Al Qaeda, and cheer Bush''s illegal occupation."

It amazes me at how many people are willing to gobble up the "al-Qaeda-in-Iraq" nonsense, without questioning.

So now the press would have you condemn Al Qaeda, and cheer Bush''s illegal occupation. Al Qaeda is a CIA plant, they work for Bush.

By the way these are the same people who stoned a girl for eloping with a Muslim man, one of "the enemy".

I say leave them alone, their choice of religion and culture is their own, not ours, we can regard them as barbaric, but it is not our right to presume to be any better.

The press is playing an obscene game of "condemn them because they stoned a girl" then a few weeks later they change to "innocent victims of Al Qaeda". All you war mongers are either suckers, or intentionally supporting Bush''s crimes against humanity.

Oh and quoting the bible to prove your point is no different then if I said I don''''t believe in Grimm''''s fairy tales and you said that doesn''''t make sense because on page three of the book of Hansel and Gretel, chapter two verse five it says that I have to believe in Grimm''''s fairy tales. It just doesn''''t make any logical sense. In fact it''''s illogical.

Hansel and gretel is a self proclaimed fairy tale the bible on the other hand is the oldest book min the world ,written and composed by many authors inspired by God himself. the times and places mentioned in it plus the many time tested prophesies come true attest to its authenticy. Muslims even believe in many of the old testament patriarchs. As king David and others said " the heavans declare his glory . Ever seen the heavans thru a big telescope? Its magnificent and awe inspiring ,a real testimonial to Gods creation

Indeed, since atheism and agnosticism comprise a very small minority of the world''s population, it could be argued that lack of a religious experience could only have a few explanations. The lack of religious experience may be due to a sort of disability, like being blind. It may be that the God of the universe simply has chosen not to reveal himself to a particular atheist yet. ----from religion studies uvga

j-whit it appears that you are part of a small minority

"The victims were Yazidis, a small Kurdish-speaking sect that has been targeted by Muslim extremists who consider its members to be blasphemers."

The article fails to mention that Christian members also consider these people, whose religion pre-dates theirs, to be Satan worshipers, it also fails to mention that these were the people that Saddam used his US supplied gas against.

It also fails to note that Turkey has been raiding this area and killing the inhabitants ever since Saddam was lynched, while the US and the rest of the world pretend not to see.
